EmmaLee- Im surprised...I havent heard anything bad. They also come with 2 year warranty which is the only reason why I'd consider them, if there was no warranties, I wouldn't even think about it!

pmburk - Thanks for letting me know!! I will have to stop by this weekend and check out some watches in illinois. There's two places I can check out. How long has this been going on for?

MandM - I'm starting to like this watch too much...I'd buy it now if it wasnt for xmas!

Any watch you buy that is a quartz is for its fashion look, obviously. They all work with a quartz. So, it's what look you're after.

In that budget you can also buy a pre-loved higher end brand, like Cartier. The advantage is that it's got some resale value, which the others don't.

You could also get an automatic, real movemented watch, of much higher quality and materials, but you'd have to learn about the movement and take some time with it. It's possible to get a good pre-owned Omega, for instance, in that price range.

But you might be after just easy and good-looking, and that's okay too. Just a matter of what that dollar layout needs to do for you longer term. If you want to have some value in case you'd sell, consider these other facts.
