The big watch is a big hit today but I guess you have a tiny wrist like me. I think tank will look better on you as European girl will have more bigger wrist so Roadster will look better on their wrist.

I got my catier pasha and my friend always told me it is too big for my wrist.

I also choose to buy a Cartier before J12 and as you know J12 still stick on my mind.

Go to try on both watch and decide which one will look better on your wrist.

I still say the Cartier Roadster. Personally, I wouldn't buy a watch from a brand that is (more) known for its bags/clothing even though this Chanel (the white one) looks nice.

Hehe~I got :bustedwith my BF last night (he didn't know that I was buying a $4k+ watch 3 weeks after I got my new car). He was like but after seeing those pics, he actually liked the Roadster the most,more girly and classy, also he didn't even know that Chanel makes watches....lol

Lol~a little update. BF went back to check the pics of J12, he really likes the black one with diamond (he thinks it suits me better than the Roadster). BTW, he still thinks the white J12 looks weird.

i hate the band on the j12 love the faces though (my fav was the limited edition ruby and diamond black one hooot! that was when it wasn't so converted early 2006) i am pretty sure the J12 simple (no stone) is $7500 Au (almost double ur expected 4k lol) yes our trade agreements suck badly. I remember seeing a steel tank (no stones) advertised in vogue/harpers not so long ago for 7k or 8k. I have no idea what the roaster is but i would go for cartier as it much more timeless (and retains value) and you can negotiate slightly. So cartier wins my a mile for me. plus the stupid bands on the j12s look SO CHEAP!

^^WHAT??!?!?AUD$7500?!?!Are you sure?!?! It can't be that much, cos I know Japan always has the similar price with Aus regarding lux goods, and the RRP (incl tax) for the J12 in Japan is around AU$5700.

^^I think the one you see is probably the 41mm, the largest size (w.o diamonds), it retails for JPY 766500, so around AU$7300.

The 33mm w/ diamond markers, retails for JPY 598000 (around AU$5700).
