Gorgeous frankie! May I ask who did you ring?

Thanks everyone !

The center stone is 3.075ct, AGS000 ideal cut, H VS1. The setting is approx. 0.75ct in platinum, made by Victor Canera in Los Angeles !

I have separate threads posted on pricescope under the same TPF ID if you would like to see more photos over there :)

thankyou so much everyone for being so excited and happy for me!!

DiaDiva, here are the specs:

center stone :

GIA CERTIFIED
carat - 1.72ct
color - F
clarity - vvs2
cut - ex ex ex

side stones:

carat - 0.50 ctw
color - E and F
clarity - vvs1

ring size - euro 49, US 4 7/8

due to the triple ex cut and high color grade, this stone faces almost identical to a 2ct stone when compared side by side... i feel really lucky !!
I must revive this thread because I love your ring so much!

Can you please explain a little about what the triple ex cut mean?

I hope you're wearing it in good health!!

Triple Excellent is term used to cover the three "Excellents" given to GIA's idea of an Excellent Cut Quality stone. When Triple Excellent is used it is meaning that the report from GIA says that the symmetry, polish and overall cut grade from GIA were all given EXCELLENT. In the grader's opinion at GIA, this stone was cut with their idea of excellent angles and proportions. When you see Triple Ideal, Triple Zero, or in some cases SUPER IDEAL, that's typically referring to the cut quality grade AGS gave it. AGS simply calls their best cut quality grade IDEAL, and gives a numerical system to their breakdown, Zero being the best.

As reference: AGS has the standard cut grading system, and really, one by which all should be following. They came up with it and they have the most solid and I'd argue best system. Since the GIA's cut grading system has significant room for improvement, what falls under Excellent or "Triple Excellent" is so wide a margin you could drive a truck through it...I saw someone coin a phrase elsewhere that made me laugh out loud because of it's accuracy: "Life is like a GIA Excellent, you never know what you're gonna get."

Frankie, I have to say that both of your rings, the threestone (also with pears) and the RB halo were my absolute favorites while searching the internet for the e ring style that I like. And I didn´t even know that they both were your rings! Until as I saw this thread, now I know!
I really must say you have impassable taste. Those rings are magnificent, really really gorgeous top of the row! Now I just can´t decide what I want more...three stone or RB halo...

I absolutely love your ring! I am having one custom made and I feel the proportions are perfect (though my middle stone will be .75carat or 1 carat...I have super short, slightly chubby fingers and don't want to look like i'm playing dress up). I just wanted to double check something...are each of the side stones .50 ctw or are they .50 ctw together? Many thanks in advance and thank you for the inspiration!

Also, I'll be doing my band in yellow gold a la Meghan Markle. Do you think the yellow prongs will look good or should I have the prongs etc in white gold as not to take away from the diamond? Any advice would be much appreciated. I wear a yellow gold ring on my right hand every day (was my grandmother's wedding band...added some a few small diamonds to it), and a yellow gold necklace and pendant, and yellow gold diamond huggies on my ears everyday. Suits my skin tone more. Simple and elegant is my personality.

So happy to have found this lovely setting here. Thank you so much for sharing.
