Could be known as 'bad timing on her part'. Welcome if your not sara/brook, i'm sorry if i'm not being nice. Just that she's done this time and time again. It almost sounds like another scam of hers, act like a buyer (um where did you buy it? all her listings were pulled) and swear to put her in jail if it's fake. Somehow I'm going to guess the bag will magically be authentic, fast shipping, well packaged and a perfect ebayer.

I don't think it is so out there for anyone to be suspicious. I am sure that Mango can understand that Sara's last activity was 11:20PM and Mango's first post was 11:38...it just looks bad...thats all.

Anyone who wants to avoid a scam could understand why we are all on our toes right now.

We shall see. if Mango is for real, then she shall post the auction and the seller ID.. If's she's a farce, then so it the rest of it...
She has to put her $$ where her mouth is.. or not.

I know its so hard to trust anything anymore. I saw the item on Jan 28 it was listed for $700 or so. i sent her an email asking her if i buy now would she accept an offer of $450. She said she would accept but not with paypal she had a bad experience and so on. she said use a money gram. I said i am sorry, but i have no idea where i can find one. She sent me a list of locations within minutes. I was alittle scared since everything i have ever purchased has been through paypal, so i put it off. she kept on emailing me and i kept sending her questions like how can i trust you and i dont mind paying the paypal fee myself...etc. So finally I really wanted the white bag for a Cabo trip next week I told myself just be positive there are still good people out there. So i made my way down to a 7 Eleven. only to realize that it was almost $40 of service fees. i did not send her the money. came back and told her i am not paying $40, if i have to use a non secure process and right there i should i have known her response was " reduce it from the total just send me 400 even! So i went to a Western Union at my mail box store and sent her the money. I sent the money at 4:28 pm at 11:59 pm she picked up the cash. (2/9/2009)
Now i am waiting, she said she would mail it out the next day i dont know if she did or not, but i will wait until Wednesday. she has no traking number nothing.

for those of you wondering what i am going to do- please dont wonder if this lady does not come up with my bag i will prove to you that there are ways of teaching people a lesson.

i tried to go back to her listing, but its not there anymore. her location said houston but the wire was picked up in Searcy AR. also i remember something about her buying the bag at an estate sale on the east coast. I was just so stupid I really should have known better.

Look again.. as if was JAN 28, the auction should still be there. What was the seller's ID?

You may freely post any public information. Your decision. But, NO GAMES.. do it or don't. No offense, but if you are going to come here and post, then be prepared to put your money where your mouth is. Otherwise.. why bother??

There's nothing bad about revealing a users ID on e-bay. It helps the experts here determine if it's the same person or not and do some checking in on her auctions. If you feel uneasy, after 5 posts you can PM one of them her ID and so it's not public and they will check for you.

Mango-Thanks for posting the info.
You may or may not get a bag.
If you do get a bag it will most likely be fake.
eBay does not allow WU, transfer, or any of those options anymore because of this problem with Scams. Even Craigslist warns against it.
There isn't much you can do now other than contact ebay trust and safety. This will help them prevent the person from continuing to list.
Also, as soon as you can private message on tPF it would be helpful if you could message any info you have on this person (name address, ect) so that it can be collected for further research. Just make sure you don't post it here, it is against the rules.

Your story is deja vu. I also initiated a WU transfer to AR.... it may have been to the exact same town, but I don't remember. Fortunately for me, I didn't go home and ask her about the $40 fee. I just choose a method that took four days and was free, sort of like a bank to bank. She was very angry that the cash would not transfer immediately. After one too many red flags, I was fortunate enough to stop the transfer with WU. It took about 3 hours being transfered from agent to agent, half of them who didn't speak English, to get it done. The one who eventually helped me wasn't even sure it I would get my money back. Long story short, your saga checks out.

i just looked it says something like the seller has been blocked or smething like that. She also asked me if i wanted a black one or a orange.
Did you chose black or orange?

ETA: Did you read this whole thread? I wouldn't give a flying f^&% about that person, but posting the ebay ID is ok. We wouldn't want her to flake out and make it worse for you if it got any more detailed than that.
