Looking back, I wish I had taken pictures of the tag, but I still think it would be very easy to root out a fake. The big giveaway is that zipper extension, which is literally three to four inches longer than on authentic bags. If you ask for a picture of that and then look at a photo of a bag you know to be authentic, I think that will answer it for you.
Since I was positive the bag was not authentic I did not feel the need to take a bunch of other pictures once the seller agreed to refund my money (which, I should point out, she did this morning very graciously). If I had thought about the fact that it would help some of you, I definitely would have done it, but I just wasn't thinking about it that way.
So, anyway, I hope I didn't sound like a total b*tch, I just got upset when I read the comments about the White Day.
My very, very sincere apologies if I came across as militant or hurt anyone's feelings.![]()
Just checked TFS out. Take a look at these pics in post no.19392 at this page:
The fakes are getting really good. Still there are some small signs that give the bag away but at first glance they look real.
:back2topic:
I really don't want this to turn into a replica-bashing thread or a debate, because it will get it closed down and I want it to stay open so people can see the pictures. The point here is to avoid buying a fake bag because the differences are so subtle. Let's please keep it on topic.![]()
