I've gotten skilled enough to spot fakes pretty quickly -I've seen a couple fo patchwork ones which are just gross when you know what the real ones are supposed to look like, as well as several "Goach" bags. I really don't get those - I mean, I don't understand spending money on a fake when you can get a cute, cheap, no-name bag that looks even better, but why buy a fake that basically screams it's fake? Oh well, to each his/her own I guess . . .

In my neck of the woods your a loser if you spend the money for the real thing. My mom and I are "losers" that proudly carry our authentic bags. A girl that works with my mother even tried to convince her that her "hot $ 25 Mexico buy" aka nasty fake Louis Ellipse was exactly the same as my mom's authentic that she spent more than a $1000 for...:laugh:

I thought it was cute that my bf cared about the co-workers bag. In light of this recent event, I may just buy a Hampton's Optic Signature Satchel. LMAO! That would be cruel and funny at the same time. :sneaky:

Seriously...who would carry a fake Coach bag when they worked at a Coach store!?! I'd be way too embarassed to do that! I mean, I can see if maybe she doesn't have the money to buy a real one but man, I'd rather buy a no-name purse than to be spotted wearing a fake. I have some lovely purses that aren't designer but are beautiful! :shrugs:
