I have this same bag but in the gold metallic and love it. It's perfect for nights out at the opera, etc. Mine has the legacy lining in it. I got it on the bay ages ago but not for the great price you did. However, if you do a search on the bay, the ones I see are always quite expensive...great job!
That's nice to hear! Yes, there are 2 bags like mine on ebay right now for around $200 each. Mine was EUC and these are NWOT and NWT (at fair prices and well worth the money) but I am very pleased with my inexpensive little find.
I would never spend a lot of money on a bag that I will use so rarely, but at such a bargain price I can enjoy it whenever and without any worries!
What a great deal and very special bag! I can tell you are thrilled with it--no doubt why! It is very elegant looking. I can see this being very handy/useful for after-work parties when all you want to carry is keys, cash and a credit card. Or a special occasion shower or something of that sort. Looks like it will coordinate with anything because of the colors in the stripes!

OMG ---- that is absolutely stunning! It's so.....so.........."Jackie O"! There, I said it; that's one of the highest compliments in my book. In fact, even with the number of beautiful purses shown on the reveals, I've only thought that about a few of them (namely Prof's gathered Sophia in bone with the gloves and also her ice blue embossed carryall again with gloves).
You want an occasion to wear this purse? I agree with a previous poster, wear it shopping. I bet if you wear it to any purse store, whether it be Coach, LV or whatever, you will get compliments from the SA's.
The great thing about this purse is that it is so versatile. Not only can you wear it with different colors, but you can change the mood or attitude depending on how you wear it.
Sophisticated winter casual? Monochromatic black pullover sweater and black pants, medium sized gold earrings and bracelet........
Summer lunch after church with the ladies? White fitted shift dress, black Coach sunnies, scarf on your hair ( for the top-down convertible) and heels.......
More casual? White billowy skirt and gold strappy flat sandals......
And don't get me started on jeans with a fitted jacket or a belted short trench coat.......

Sometimes I like to wear pearls with nice outfits; but pearls are not very popular these days. I find myself wondering if they will make me look old and out-of-touch. But then I think to myself "JackieO used to wear pearls and she always looked lovely and chic!" and so I go ahead and wear my pearls anyway!

I took your advice!
After I read your suggestion I started looking for something special to do last night. When my husband walked in from some errands I said "Let's have dinner and go to see a play!" And we did and we had a great time!
My (new to me) little bag is not so fancy that it can only be worn with formal wear. Last night I dressed up a bit and she was the perfect accessory to my outfit.
I won't wait for "great-big-deal events" to carry her, I am going to enjoy her often and "create occassions" to wear her! Thank you!
