Congratulations on your graduation and presents!!!! Love the pen and the watch. The YSL tributes are gorgeous too. The green and gold look like a great colour combination.

I'm super clumsy and ditzy at times, and I figure that the date is one more thing that I can break/mess up. My friend managed to break the date function on her Chanel J12, and I swore to myself I would never get a watch with a date if it could be avoided !
Also, the cyclops (glass magnifier) is glued on, I would HATE for it to break off one day. I'm sure it can be repaired, but the heart ache would be unbelievable.
So it's a mix of paranoia and knowing myself really that made the no-date decision for me.
Oh and James Bond wears the no date.
