haha jewelebeanie its so funny my mom totally buys stone moutain leather purses too!! :) except she gets the cataloge! :)
i decided i wanted to get her a nice bag too cause i have so many and i felt she deserved one, but coach isnt so her style so i got her a Kooba and she LOVES it :)

BUT on the mothers day topic i got my mom the large size of the sketch pad coach sells, it is beautiful brown pebbled leather w/vachetta trim and its a nice size! :) and the pages are unlined and beautiful they have silver all around the edges of each page

:) its really gorgeous and my mom is an artist and we are going to london in June so i know she will love to have it with her to sketch what she seems, take notes on things, etc! :) so i felt that was perfect for her i know she will love it!

(and i always spend more on my mom too cause my dad is SOOO hard to shop for, i dont know if he would like anything coach! grr!)

My mom commented that she liked my trigger snap keyfob this weekend:

So I think I will get her one of these. She would kill me if I bought her a bag. But she is slowly progressing to get more expensive bags...she bought a Dooney and Bourke about 6 months ago!

And ditto on spending less on Dad...my dad is so hard to buy for! I can find a ton of things that my mom would like.

My mom passed away 3 years ago. I used to love buying her things that she wouldn't buy for herself!
My mom just passed away January 10th and I found some of the Coach bags I got for her still tagged and unused in her closet. I miss her and I do understand how you feel. This is my first Mother's day without her. I know that feeling.
Sending you a hug,
Lynn:heart:

My moms purse style is soo all over the place I wouldn't know WHAT to get her. One day I'll see her wearing a cute hobo, the next a HIDEOUS tote with a rooster on it or something, and the next a very structured bag!

ohh there is a catalog? I don't think she knew that one. She only gets them off of QVC because no place around sells them. I should tell her about the catalog...or maybe not. Then I won't get her hooked on Coach...

I was looking at the bag last night and I'm not sure it's big enough for her. Although I'm hoping the smaller bag will help her cut down on carrying so much crap! haha. Oh well, if she doesn't like it she can always exchange it for something else.

My Mom loved the black leather large Soho hobo I purchased last December. When I was in the outlet last week they had them there do I got her one for Mother's Day. It was almost 50% off with the additional 20% discount they were offering. The hobo they currently have in the boutiques has a different handle(split and braided I think) but other than that it is the same bag.

My mom so deserves and needs a new bag. I got her the white pleated hobo (scored it at the outlet for $111!). I had to give it to her early because she lives in a different state and I just saw her. She LOVED it and I made her pose for pics :smile1:
I just sent her the picture of Kathering Heigel with her pleated hobo and she was super excited - so cute! Anyway, here are her pics...

I bought my mom a mini skinny last year, she gave it to me (too small), I bought my mom a large thick wristlet to hold her camerca (she returned it, & gave me back the $ for a swingpack) and I got her a carly demi (too small-returned)
SO ths mothers day I got her a soho small hobo and hopefully she will love it. Keeping my figers crossed.

aw, hugs to those of you who lost your mom's....

I bought my mom a Coach bag about 10 years ago and she doesn't use it any more. She carries some awful small purse too. This year I took her to see Wicked. It was fun though!

I'm giving my mom the large straw tote trimmed with white that I picked up at the outlet last year. It's definitely her type of bag, but I'm just hoping that it's not too heavy for her. I can't tell her the retail price, because then she won't use it. I bought her a Stone Mountain once, and she still talks about how expensive that was. :smile1:
