That little black tab does look like the old flat ribbon cables (I love this idea, thanks!), but it also serves a practical function. The way the clasp works, it is easier to open smoothly if you hold the tab while depressing the buttons.
So I wasn’t really paying attention to this bag (both patterns) until recently. Now I can’t get it out of my head! Do you think it’s still possible to get this bag this late in the game?

My store had the time trunk crown frame my past two visits, but those were over a month ago, so you might be able to find that one. Also, if you’re open to pre-loved, FP had one of the time trunks the last time I was on.
The Time Trunk version was more widely available than the Motherboard, so you might be able to track one down? I'm not as sure about the Motherboard - it was sold specifically as a collector's piece, and I believe production was more limited. (Having said that, I did find mine on-line at LV.com, so you never know!)
ps. As @leechiyong stated, FP does have the TT version, and I just checked - it is listed as being in new condition, if you are willing to buy from them rather than directly from LV.

My SA put in an order in their system for the time trunks version and the system said approximate arrival date is January to February. She said though it’s no guarantee so I’m crossing my fingers! Thanks for the tip about FF but I would prefer to buy this direct from LV. It’s really tempting though!
Wow! I don’t believe I’ve seen this in my store ever. I only remember seeing the time trunk speedy and twist a few months ago. I should remember to pay more attention to the displays in the store.
I honestly couldn't name three other bags from either visit. The crown frame stood out though; they're stunning.
