Saddleback Leather has some women's bags and they are guaranteed for 100 years (!). Very tough leather, I had a tote but it was a large one and pretty heavy so I didn't keep it. They have some other styles. Definitely indestructible.

I've had my LV DE since last summer. It's my rough it bag. I've taken it to the beach all of last summer. It was with me on my NY to FL road trip stuffed with with a large thermos, doggie treats, snacks, and the rest of my crap. In fact, it took lots of abuse.

All I had to do at the end of each day was shake out any sand, and wipe down the canvas and the bag was like new, good to go. It's a great bag.

Also, I absolutely believe Tumi would hold up. It's a great company that makes quality items.

My fiance has an ipad case and a camera bag from saddleback. They smell amazing and they are tough as nails.

Impressive. Any pic to show us? Name of the model?

Here are some shots of the Nero bag with an SLR, 2 lenses, a makeup kit, and a long wallet inside. I've been using this Tessuto Tote for the past 3 years as a travel workhorse :smile1: SA's claim was that the nylon for this is the same kind of nylon they use for parachutes and air balloons.

Most of the wear and tear is visible in the wrinkled handles, but nothing too obvious. :smile1:

Thanks for the pics. I have always been a fan of Prada's nylon. It seems to be incredibly wear-resistant.

LV coated canvas, LV Epi. Heard Saffiano leathers are good though I can't comment yet as I've only had mine last year.
I wish LV would come out with a line of solid-color coated canvas bags. Unfortunately, in my area, I feel like everyone carries LV damier, and I really don't like carrying a bag and then seeing it on tons of other people.

What about epi? How scratch-resistant are those bags?

This is good to know. Nylon is definitely king when it comes to strength. Have you seen Balenciaga's new nylon City bags? I'm thinking of trying one of those out...

No, but I will definitely check them out! I have one Bal left in my collection, and it is so delicate...beautiful but definitely not in the indestructible category!

I have found Epi to be good - pretty scratch-resistsnt. Not as resistant to corner wear. Mine is an old Noe, and the corners are bound to get beat up.
