Lately, my experience (outside of TPF), at work and in my area, has been most women are carrying either Coach or Dooney & Bourke bags. On the more expensive side, I see the LV Neverfull everywhere. I will see an occasional Chanel classic or even more rare, a Balenciaga bag but for the most part, DB & Coach take center stage.

Here in SW Florida it seems Coach rules, followed closely by D&B. Once in awhile, I'll see an LV but that would be the exception. I've never seen a Balenciaga or Hermes, only one person I know has a Chanel. She also has a couple of Gucci Sukeys. I can't say that I've noticed Valentino or Prada or any of the others you see mentioned in the Forum (Dior, Mulberry, Fendi, Minkoff, etc.) And the few LVs I've seen were the brown monos.

Wow, I could've written this. I'm in Northwest Pennsylvania. Definitely Coach and more Coach. Then D&B, then a huge array of Target/Kohls/JCPenney bags. I've only seen 3 or 4 LVs in the last year (!) and I'm guessing they're all fake. The LVs don't really go with the tweety bird PJ pants at Walmart.

Where I live in southwest MI near Lake MI. it's Coach or LV (though most of the "LV's" I see are fakes). I've never seen anyone carrying a Bal, Chanel or anything like that. If I did I'd have to run up to them and compliment their bag

Lol on the girl with the tweety bird at Walmart! So true! I think coach. And half of those are fake, which kills me, they're relatively inexpensive anyway! Crooked c's kill me!

In my working area, I shave seen many Coach, LV Monogram, and a few Chanel Flap and lately I have seen a bright pink Celine Luggage and she has a Hermes wallet.

I would say coach bags and Lv bags because they are the ones that I see the most. I do see other brands (and get excited). I just saw someone going into CVS the other day wearing a bright red Bal bag and nearly screamed "can I feel it?" I contained myself and went on.

I've never seen a Bal irl.
