I've been finding out a lot of people who can't afford to pay full price for a high end designer bag are turning to a rapidly growing 'netflix' of handbags, the bag borrow or steal. They can easily rent for just a fraction of the cost and keep it however long they wish to. so I think this could be one of the reason why I've been spotting almost every girl with an authentic lv everywhere I go.

Lots of Coach and LV - I agree with the OP that access to boutiques has a lot to do with it, there is a big LV and a big Coach store near me.

I was in a mall the other day that has a Coach and it felt like 80% of the women I saw had Coach.

I have a Kate Spade that I bought at Winners (Canadian discount designer outlet) and I've never seen anyone else with KS (Winners gets a small amount of the mid-range bags like KS and Coach, most of what they have is Guess, Tommy Hilfiger, Kathy Van Zeeland and such).

Guess, Coach, KVZ, Tommy Hilfiger, Fake Coach, Fake Burberry, Fake LV, Fake Chanel (all are the horribly you can't miss them from a mile away bad fakes). On rare occasions, I also seen hideous fake gucci bags (last time was the daycare worker who was running the after school program at the school - a fake Blondie bowler).

Coach. Surprisingly, though, I've seen a lot of Louis Vuitton. I work at a Starbucks, and just the other day I saw three separate women - each with different (and equally lovely) Louis Vuitton bags.

(For the Coach - it's because I'm in an area that's about 20 minutes from one of the factory outlets!)
