^^ INteresting thought. My 40 is made in France and 35 is made in the US. I'll probably post about this tomorrow as I'm heading for a long good night sleep.
Update, update......I got my Speedy 40 in February and Speedy 35 this month (March). 40 is made in France and 35 is made in USA. The France mono canvas is lighter. It doesn't matter to me. I still love them both. LOL.
