I was using one of those coin purses where you can stuff all of your bills, coins and cards in there! I like the convenience of a one zipper compartment, but now that I have a wallet, I'm sure I would learn to love it! :yahoo:

Rose pop is such a gorgeous color, I was just as excited as you before I got mine. You would not regret that's for sure!

Wow! That's one hell-of-a coin purse! I am impress. No wonder you have no need for a wallet. However, I am certain you will grow into the wallet lifestyle especially one that can double up as a clutch or wristlet.

For someone who buys herself an Insolite after 8 years of "no wallet", further assures me of my decision to invest in one.

I just got mine rose pop insolite on friday MAY 1!!! I love looking at it and using it! It is so practical. I was worried about the credit card issue, but I am going to like you have said really take careful care to make sure that this does not occur.

Be careful though ladies. For some reason the inside where they stamp "Louis Vuitton Made in France" in some of the wallets I inspected before purchasing had the writing stamped in Gray instead of GOld. So the stamped writing does not really stand out. I think this was a defect because they were the first batch that has come out. I saw some stamped in GOLD lettering and I saw some stamped in Gray/Silver. This may not bother you, but it definetely bothered me. Also I saw black ink dots smudges on the died rose pop canvas on some of the wallets. So becareful to inspect yours. Just wanted to warn you gals! I had to inspect 7 wallets before I found one without any defects.

Thanks for your openness with the "defect", I will certainly take a keen and close inspection of every single item in this range. Did the SA confirm that it is a defect and returned it to Louis Vuitton HQ to be disposed of?

When I pay a premium for high end designer goods, I expect it to be in perfect condition and if it is found to be defective I want the assurance that I am able to exchange it for a new one or another product in the same price range or have the option to top up the difference in another product of higher price.

My Mom did so much good to me, so I´m glad to make her happy with my (rather new) zippy, and as I can´t wear two wallets at the same time and I know I love rose pop much mor than the brown, Mom should be happy with it before it ends up unused in my closet;)

bagsgal, i don't think that she said it was a defect, she just "that's wierd." she then put it back in the box. She said some people like the gold and some people like it stamped in gray. I don't know which is the real "defect" if you know what I mean.

You are a very good daughter and am very happy that you have such a wonderful relationship with your mum. I have a good relationship with mum too even though we live in different parts of the world. We love our mums!!!

I went into Louis Vuitton and checked out the Insolite in Rose Pop and the optional golden key ring chain...ooh, I love them!!! It is absolutely gorgeous and as I had anticipated, it works well attached to my Galleria via the D-ring, worn around my wrist as a wristlet or on its own as a clutch.

I am also opting for the "personalisation" service to get my name on the inside of the Insolite.

I just returned from the LV store in the KaDeWe in Berlin, Germany. Ended up buying the insolite wallet in rose. I had wanted one with the green or purple interior, but they only had rose and red left. I still love it though and have been eyeing this wallet for a long time. I also love the multicolore ones. Maybe that will be my next purchase?
