Well i've been using this for a little while now - and im sad to say its clogging my pores. Im going to try it with my Baking Soda exfoliator and see what happens. I keep breaking out! argh! x

I finally tried this for the first time today! I'm hoping it will lessen the oily-ness I get from the super hot summer weather. As far as the application of my make-up....beautiful. I use BareMinerals which always goes on wonderfully, but now the application seems all that much more smoother. And it makes your skin all soft and silky. I'm going to continue using it and see if there's any major improvements for me!

Okay so update..been using this for at least a month I believe. I can't keep track :sweatdrop: well this weekend I got a backup, since I was at WalMart with my mom buying some random stuff anyway. I squeezed some out and it was really runny, so I know what some of you ladies were talking about. After you squeeze a bit out and it starts to become the gel consistency :)

Update on my skin and this; I don't look oily all day thanks to this and I'm not breaking out. If you are getting break outs, exfoliate really well when you wear this.

You might also try doing a Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask every week or so, it will clean and tone your pores, and washing it off is a very gentle exfoliation excercise!

Thank you Shimma & Frosted!!! Hopefully once my skin is cleard up i will be able to start a fressh with my new routine

Though right now i have food poisoning so i have no reason to be wearing make up as i can't leave the house lol! Hopefully the break away from a fully made up face will do me some good :) x

Maybe try it again. Make sure to exfoliate really well like Shimma suggested. I stopped using it too and have been hunting down the cause of my new acne  little by little. I've narrowed it down to contaminated brushes (don't use Burt's Bee's Baby Shampoo to clean them-- bad!). I've switched back to my cheapo Equate brand baby shampoo and have noticed a HUGE difference.

Problem is I can't keep myself from touching my face either. It's a vicious cycle. I know that's causing me to clear up slowly. I'm not getting the angry pimples since I started cleaning my brushes the old way...

A couple of tips, I've learned. Always sleep on a clean pillow case -- wash often. Don't reuse towels or wash cloths on your face -- this spreads bacteria. Best thing to use is paper towels, since I hate wasting paper like that, I use a clean towel once on my face, then when I shower next, it's my body towel. It's helping.

Hope you feel better!

^^^ I constantly touch my face to and try not to. The clean pillow case is a must. I actually lay a new towel over my pillow every night. The washcloth on my face...I went to Walmart and bought about 40 white washcloths, nothing expensive. They are folded on a shelf in my bathroom. Everytime I wash my face I get a new one. After my shower I dry my face with one and the rest of my body with a towel. Now if only I could keep my hands off my face.

I was showing the Monistat to my DH this morning. I was explaining that it was really a chafing gel but some people use it as a primer for there makeup!!! I have yet to try it. I broke out the other day and wanted to get that under control before I put anything new on my face.

Ah so, where can I get this stuff in Australia or equivalent? I've been avoiding the thread because the chances are, I can't get it in my town (can't get anything), but you've all made me want to try!

Edit: I mean equivalent product, not equivalent to Australia :sweatdrop:.
