He is a mega hypocrite. I actually feel sorry for her. My Mom was reading some of the comments on the blogs, and EVERYONE is talking about how unhappy she looks and how stiff they are, and the hypocritical nature of the union.

Yep, I think that's all it about. But If he wanted 'legitimate' heir, he could have married any of the other mothers. I think it's a certain women he will shag and another he will marry, the acceptable type, to create acceptable heirs.

So what we are saying is that she is literally captive and forced to marry him? Drugged? Seriously, people believe that she is held against her will and doesn't want to marry him? I just have a hard time buying it. She may have had doubts, but she likely had many, many opportunities to walk away and didn't take them. If she swallowed two illegitimate children, what's the issue with the third? He's already proven to be a relatively worthless kind of man, and she accepted that in the past, so why try to run now? I think people are trying to make this into a scandal when it isn't.

Its very complicated.


In a nutshell, Monaco will revert to French rule and cease being a Monarchy if there is no male(?) descendent to take over the throne.


Before Prince Albert's father died there was always an uneasiness about him inheriting the throne because he was all over the place and showed no interest in being the ruler.


Add to the fact he has dropped his seed all over the earth and admittedly does not know exactly how many illegitimate children he may have.


Also, he his father changed the constitution to make sure the son he had with the Togo woman would not be considered an heir to the throne. Before he changed it, an illegitimate child would be in the line of succession.


So basically that is why he waited to marry till he was 50. Even his wife is considered substandard.

It's such a sad little country. But it is rich. Kind of like Albert's new wife.


His wife is substandard because when it comes to royalty there are only so many acceptable options. Marrying a white African does not cut it. It's like he couldn't even find an Australian to marry.


Let's just say, if William (or even Harry) brought home this chick, the answer would be an quick "No" from the Queen and the whole damn country.


Monaco is so pressed to have a legitimate heir, they were just happy the damn woman is white. Nevermind she doesn't speak a lick of french, or come from any type of high breeding.

Is this a NEW child? Cause both of the others have been tested and he's acknowledged them. He also pays support.

I thought Prince Rainier changed the laws when Albert had no legitimate children and made it possible for Caroline and then her children to be heirs. So, he doesn't need to have his own children and the crown will stay in the family.

Love that they can change the rules to suit them, but whatever...

**this is just MY opinion**

I feel like if his illegitimate son wasn't biracial, there would be room for him in line to the thrown, he'd be at family functions and not hidden away somewhere.

The 33-year-old former Olympic swimmer is reported to have been trying to leave Monaco after hearing a rumour that her groom had fathered a third illegitimate child.

Lawyers for Prince Albert, 53, have said categorically that the rumour is false.

But the extraordinary claims mean that when Miss Wittstock walks down the aisle, at 4pm UK time, she will do so under a cloud of suspicion.

A senior Monaco detective, who was involved in the later stages of the ‘incident’ at Nice airport, confirmed: ‘Charlene had her passport confiscated so that the Prince’s entourage could persuade her to stay.’

And respected French newspaper Le Figaro reported: ‘This speculation has been given credibility by the indiscretions of the Monaco police.

The wedding is the first of a reigning prince in the Mediterranean state since Hollywood icon Grace Kelly married Prince Rainier in 1956.

The palace last night released names on the star-studded guest list, including supermodel Naomi Campbell and Giorgio Armani, who has designed Miss Wittstock’s bridal gown.

Prince Albert’s first illegitimate child is Jazmin, 19, whose mother is Tamara Rotolo, a U.S. estate agent. His second, Alexandre, seven, was born to former air hostess Nicole Coste, from Togo.

He issued fierce denials before DNA tests proved he was the father in both cases.
