Mom if 2 here- I was using my LV palms springs mm backpack but was running out of space. I’ve recently switched to the deauville with my square mini inside to grab and go for short trips. I have the Chanel large shopper tote in aged calf and while it isn’t too heavy it was too small for all my items and the handles came off too easily.

Also mom of 2 (3 1/2 year old and 18 month old) and the easiest bags for me to wear when I’m with 1 or 2 of them is my Chanel 19 or my denim jumbo flap as it fits what I need and I find them to be lightweight in comparison to some of my other bags. I also still have my diaper bag handy if needed.

Non Chanel bags I love are bumbags or backpacks.

Not Chanel, but I love my Hermes Evelyne with the kids!

I don’t currently own any Chanel bags, though in part because I just haven’t been able to find a bag from Chanel that I’d be comfortable running to the park with. The Evelyne checks (almost) all my boxes.

I am actually also looking into mini evelyne, but I am still not too sure if it’s my style.

I recommend these bags:

Chanel mini
Chanel reissue (mini)
Gucci Soho Disco
LV Alma BB
Hermès Evelyne
YSL Camera bag
Chanel Gabrielle

Basically you need a small-ish crossbody bag.
I have the square mini, but they are both in lambskin, I somehow feel lambskin and young children spell disaster. Lol

I have a YSL toy Loulou, I guess I am just finding an excuse to buy a Chanel everyday bag.

I LOVE my mini evelyne. I have a mini and the PM size. PM size is perfect for day outings w the kids like the zoo, museums etc. the mini is perfect for errands and play dates. My kids are 4 and six so I don’t really have a lot to carry anymore
That’s good to know. I used to not like the design, and I felt that the strap is a bit too long on me. But lately I find myself warming up to it quite a lot. I might end up getting one. :)

Here is a picture of me trying it on:

So cute on you! I have the etain color and I find the bag soo lightweight and durable. The perfect non fussy bag when I want my hands free
Thanks!<3 This was at the Paris flagship, I regret not getting one then, but I was just not feeling it. I wouldn’t be getting nata, it’d be something darker like bleu nuit, etain is beautiful too!

i tried in the tpm size too in etoupe but it was too long on me. I’m 5’2”. Wish the strap was adjustable.Could buy a shorter strap for it but H straps are so expensive.

I’m always looking for a practical Chanel bag. Sometimes there are great seasonal designs that are more carefree. I have a reissue 225, reissue camera bag, woc and square mini.I can wear them all with my kids (6&8) but think they’re still too flashy and the chain can hurt after some time. I just got a denim medium flap and think it’s pretty carefree and casual but still screams Chanel. I’m eyeing next either another camera bag or bucket bag but think H bags might better options for mom bags. Will have to give the Evelyn another try. Also waiting to get a garden party which will be a good option but not for parks etc. other option is a nice bum bag.
But let us know what you decide to get!

I have 2 kids ages 1 and 3. Caviar would be a better choice with young babies I think. I also recommend wrinkle calfskin as it is very durable and hard wearing. My go to everyday bags are the classic minis. I also like the urban companion from 18P if you want to carry a bit more

I am using this mini chevron flap for quick runs nearby.. For longer or further trips, i use my Boy Old medium as i need to squeeze in a diaper! Lol and wet wipes for sure..

Caviar is for sure and dark colors for me. I have yet to pull the trigger on light Chanel!
