Hi mommies, what is your favorite bag to wear taking your young kids out?

I am planning to to downsize my collection significantly and get a few new mommy-friendly bags and maybe another woc. Would be great if you can include what leather the bag is made of. TIA

Hi! I bought a classic black WOC a few years ago and hardly used it but now I’ve been using it a lot. My son is 4 years old and I use it for the school run, walks and trips to the park/play areas. It’s inconspicuous and doesn’t get in the way. My problem with it is it doesn’t quite fit enough so I’m thinking of selling it even though I’ve been using it a lot because I wish it fit just a tiny bit more. The long strap is a bit annoying as well but if you carry light, I would recommend it. However, a mini would be better IMO. I have never owned one of those.

Hi honeybunch, I have recently bought 2 minis both are square and lambskin, I have yet to use them, I also have a trendy woc but it is also in lambskin so I would not be using it when going out with my baby. I am thinking to get something in caviar and in either black or navy. :)

That is also my concern, I am already regretting a bit just thinking of it. Lol

May I ask what size are your classic flaps?

I can see how you would be worried to use your lambskin bags. When my son was a bit younger I used to use a Gucci Marmont camera bag. It was so useful and a great size but I sold it as I don’t like the Gucci brand anymore. A Chanel camera bag would be great if you want to go for a Chanel option. Now my son is older I use my 19 and classic flap but not for things like school runs/parks. I use them when I have days off and my son is at school. I’m still on the lookout for a perfect every day Chanel bag that can be used for those things.

That’s exactly what I’m looking for, a perfect every day Chanel bag. I think I will look into the camera bags.

I was looking at the Gucci camera bag and also the Marmont extra mini, but I don’t really like Gucci too. Lol

I have been thinking about this as well. I’ve been looking at totes but, the Chanel totes aren’t made for parks etc.

In the past I have used my Gucci disco. Also Gucci makes kid backpacks that I have used as well.
I would just wear my disco or Chanel Woc crossbody and put their things in the Gucci (kids) backpack.

In general though, they only get older and will need less and/or carry their own stuff on outings. So I try and not focus too much on buying a bag for when they are small.

I recently got the Gabrielle small and absolutely love it. The chain enables me to wear on both shoulder so I don't ever have to worry about it falling off. my daughter is 5 and it's now my out and about bag to the zoo and park. It fits quite a bit consider it's a small bag. The best part it, I usually just let it stay on me while sitting down on the bench or ground. The WOC might work on taller person, but I am 5'2, the chain really bugged me a lot when I had it.

And the totes are quite heavy by themselves, so I will not even consider that as a mommy bag. Lol

I have never tried the gabrielle, maybe I should try it out in store and see how it feels. Thanks
