Molly or Rory?

Got my Rory and it is SO beautiful but it is too big for me. If I was only going to use it as a work or travel bag, it would be perfect, but for everyday, it's just too much bag for me. I'm sad.
Awww, that's too bad. Would squishing it down like this help?

It looks ok when it's sitting but when on my shoulder it looks huge on me. And when holding by the handles it looks really big and square. I love it on other people!

I didn't see this thread until now. As much as I think my cognac rory is beautiful, I don't use her very often bc I think she's kinda big & gets heavy. I'm 5'5" size 4 & I still think she's a little overwhelming on me. If I could go back in time, I think I'd trade cognac rory for cognac Molly. So sorry it didn't work out

Yeah, I'm sorry Rory didn't work for you. Hopefully you'll find another Molly in excellent condition.

At first Rory also seemed to big to me, I harbored my Rory for 6 moths until I first took it out and I was not in love, just too big to handle and too square
But, another couple of months down the road and its love. So much love that I had to get another and would love more.
I am kicking myself that I returned sand Rory which I got for crazy clearance price during my not so sure about Rory period.
For me, its so much better than Molly.
My needs had changed, since I first got it. I bring many more things with me to work ( lunch, snacks, yoga pants) and Rory fits it all.
So maybe wait a little bit and see if it will grow on you.

but i actually can't picture letting her go. I used rory more while I was pregnant bc it looked better on me then w/ my big belly to balance out the look! Lol. I probably wouldn't use a Molly very much either as I've already given my black cherry Molly away to my mom... I guess I'm more of a slouchy duffle lover at heart!Finally got my NWT black Molly today! She was delivered yesterday but I missed the postman and had to go pick her up today! I love this bag so much. Just about perfect. I now have it in black and tourmaline. Should have gone with my gut and gotten Molly to begin with. I am trying to sell my gorgeous Rory but I guess if I can't sell her, I can keep her as a work/travel bag!
