I have the same experience with the green v-neck, too short and tight around the waist, that is why I got the L.
Now I need to hunt that striped sweater.
I wore my Blue Striped dress to work on Tuesday and wore it with my Marc Jacobs leather jacket in navy. I wore it with black leggings (too short to wear it w/or w/o tights) and my MbyMJ Boots. I also added a pink scarf I bought from the GAP a few years ago

I know this has been asked before, but I can't seem to find an answer -- how do the long, open cardigans fit? I think I'm going to cave and buy them on ebay (I have some ebay bucks I can use which will reduce some of the over-charges), but can't decide if I should go with a M or L. My hoodie is a Medium and I think it fits good, altho if I would have had a choice, I would have gone with a Large -- it's pretty snug when I zip it, altho I know that won't be an issue with either one of the long cardigans since they're meant to be worn open.

I normally wear an xs. I received an xs and a s in the blue open cardigan and I can wear either size. But I prefer the xs with the dress because it allows you to see more of the details of the dress. hth. (My relative who normally wears a S-M top is keeping the S--but a M probably would have been better for her).
I don't know about the brown, because I haven't received that or the matching dress that I ordered.
Love the dress by the way, and the scarf looks like another perfect match!
thanks LaC -- I think I might go with the medium. I guess if it's too small I could always resell it and buy a large (there's no shortage of them!) -- the Large sizes are all priced so much higher than the mediums I'm finding, so that's one of the main reasons (if I could find the L for the same price or a couple bucks more, it would be an easy decision!)
I wasn't so sure about this dress when I ordered it - I really wanted the pink & purple one, but it had already sold out by that time, so I decided to give this one a try -- I ended up really loving the colors and how it looked & fit. I was afraid the horizontal zig zags would make me look larger and emphasize my wider parts, but I think the zig zags keep that from happening

Yep, now I wish I had that one too. But I haven't seen it in any stores and I didn't order it (unfortunately).
