I know it's not fair to the 'real' Americans, but I think they [Natashe, Dasha, etc] are smart for doing that. The obstacles of getting a visa, working permits, etc is still very much an issue for this part of Europe and if I was wealthy and connected enough to do this, I would.
The kid has more opportunities and security of a lifetime.
Plus a lot of those people have a real connection to the US like business, family, friends or they spend a lot of time there..

I think Mira's children were/are born in Russia but don't take my word for it.
It's not just the Mexicans, there are "secret" hospitals here in California for the Chinese to have their children here. The US Government knows about it, and periodically closes these places down, but another pops up somewhere else.
wealthy europeans vs. poor Mexicans, wow. i think a lot of people abuse the system and it has nothing to do with race. people desire opportunity and as long as there's poverty people will do what they have to, including immigrating to another country. i don't like how whenever immigration issues come up people get nasty towards people of color (i.e. Mexicans), it's really gross to do.

Mexicans? Oh dear there is plenty of people from Cuba, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala and many other countries working very hard for little money in the US. Saying people is "legal" or "illegal" is an absolut wrong concept.
you said it better than I did. and what about the companies that knowingly hire "illegals"? as long as a business is looking to cut costs, this will remain a reality. it's just a gross way to refer to other humans.
