Tatsu_k thanks for the translation. I think, the whole interview was quite confusing and shallow. Makes me wonder, Is that all there is in the world of these rich russian women?

It would appear to be so, unfortunately. Although, having no interaction or third party real gossip about them ~ unlike their USA counterparts, I have to just read their interviews and weep.

It's really interesting how everybody have gone from worshipping her since she appeared on the scene around 2007-2008 to be more critical of her. I - like many others here - preferred her style before 2010, but as a Russian studies minor, it was always a bit difficult for me to worship Russian socialites knowing how many of their (or their families'/husband's) fortunes were made and how difficult the early post-soviet years were for the average Russian person. Not saying this is only a problem in Russia of course, and I hope I didn't get too political and I haven't followed her threads in years, but the NY Fashion week/homeless person picture made me curious about what her style is now a days and what people's opinions on her or the picture is.

I think the photo with the homeless man was a pure coincidence...
It's not that they were kicking him or something, they were just standing there.. And wo knows maybe they gave him money afterwards..

Wonderful post. Calling them socialites has always been hard for me to swallow.

I think the homeless guy in the picture was purely incidental, but illustrates how inured they are to a person of this circumstatnce

Girls, please don't judge the whole russian population of the planet by couple on fake mega rich.... please don't generalise...There are superficial people in every nation and country ;)
I'm not judging the entire Russian population by the actions of these few super rich, fake people :smile1: I'm just agreeing that this specific group of superficial, catty women are exactly that! There are also superficial, super rich, fake people in every or most nations ;)
