She has experienced a tough few months with the announcement of the end of her marriage to Orlando Bloom and her replacement as the face of clothing brand Mango by Canadian model Daria Werbowy.

But Miranda Kerr has been very much the professional in her handful of public appearances since the split.

And the 30-year-old Australian model stayed true to form as she stepped out at the Jaguar F-TYPE Global Reveal Event at Raleigh Studios event in Los Angeles.

It's the easy way out to blame models for all of society's self esteem issues, and harder to take the time to teach our young ones to accept their bodies and just be the best version of themselves that they can be. If you have a kid who would starve herself to look like Miranda, then it probably doesn't make any difference if Miranda photoshopped her waist or not. She was admired for her thin figure wayyyy before these photoshop apps existed. The problem isn't Miranda. It's with what we teach these young girls at home. I bet those girls who are starving themselves to look like supermodels probably have the type of moms who do the exact same thing and encourage them to go on "low calorie" mother-daughter diets. I know I had a friend in HS who's mom would make her eat nothing but watermelon and egg whites when she felt "fat".

Sigh.. there is so much hypocrisy in showbiz, period. I thought it was common knowledge that the industry is all about smoke and mirrors, sales, money, manipulation, etc. Miranda most likely did not write that book. She's just attaching her image/brand to the book for a paycheck, which is smart. Her shelf life as a model is very short, so she's gotta do what she's gotta do before she's considered washed up in the modeling world. If a celebrity wants to put out positive vibes into the world, fake or not, I'm cool with it. I'd rather have Miranda's organic "love thyself" B.S. than Miley Cyrus and Rihanna prancing around onstage openly promoting drugs.

But not everyone with an eating disorder is going to have the same situation that your friend had... There's a lot reasons for somebody to have an eating disorder it's not as simple as a "one size fits all"

The internet and the media plays a HUGE role in somebody's self esteem, and you are kidding yourself if you think it doesn't. Especially with these anonymous websites now such as Ask.fm. And there's actually anonymous twitter accounts for my school, and my grade and all they do is talk crap about people on it (example: school name 97s, or like school name girls, and nobody would know whose writing on them). OH and there's twitters and tumblrs that PROMOTE eating disorders, and the girls are just terrifyingly frail, and they're like "still gotta lose weight." That's the problem... Parents can preach all they want about how their body is beautiful but the internet will take over and it will twist their mind... there's only so much you can do about controlling the internet. It is VERY hard, and policing your teenagers is just going to make them go wild when they move out of your house.

And it might not even be a celebrity that is the reason for a girl having an eating disorder it could be kids at school. For me personally, if I was going to be insecure about something, since I am 16 and in high school, it would be about what kids say about me because I don't give a sh** what these models look like or say because they're not in my life. Like I used to be really insecure about my boobs because everyone would point out that I had small boobs and they'd call me tiny titty tim (stopped talking to that person btw)

But it could be different for everyone, and I've never had an eating disorder so I can't comment on experience with that, but when it comes to insecurities I can.

And also just because she "felt fat" doesn't mean that she is fat. One of my best friends is severely overweight and her mom tries to get her to eat healthy all the time. Every time I would go over to her house she would pig out, and would eat stuff like coolwhip from the container, and if they ordered pizza and I'd only have 1 or 2 slices when her mom gave me 3 she would be like tell my mom that you ate your 3rd piece (when she ate my last one.) So it's really different for everyone and it is not as simple as people would want or expect it to be.

I'm not sure if this is a reply to me, if so, can I just point out that I was being sarcastic in response to a couple of previous posters who were suggesting that the reason why Miranda has so many haters here is because of her pretty face and perfect body. I was trying to say we are not all "jealous haters" who hate beautiful women for no reason. If people don't like her it's probably because she is a bit of an airhead, as evidenced by pretty much every interview she's ever done. And also, she doesn't come across as very genuine or warm.

Miranda Kerr carries her cutie-pie little boy Flynn into LAX Airport to catch a flight out of town on Wednesday (November 20) in Los Angeles.

The evening before, the 30-year-old model arrived looking gorgeous to the Jaguar F-TYPE Coupe Global Debut.

Every time she has a bad publicity.. she parades her son around for people to admire his cuteness to forget about her bullcrap.. I see through her.

Before Miranda used to go out with little makeup (sometimes none) and normal/casual clothes on a weekend, or coming out of a gym in her training clothes, or even filling her car with petrol lol. Now every photo I see of her she has a face full of make up, hair done, never seems to go to the gym and always dresses as if she's going to a photo shoot.

I used to like Miranda heaps but it's so obvious how much attention she seeks, especially over the past couple of years. How can Orlando, who has been a famous movie star in his own right for years now, as well as other more famous people, go out without having a hoard of paps following their every move? It's obvious she calls the paps and tbh it's quite disturbing that she smiles so wide for them and dresses up just for them... And the poor kid has no privacy left anymore either.

I think a lot of people don't like her anymore because she portrays this aura of how she is such a perfect human being that she doesn't do regular things or even dress casual (not like a slob, but still even nice casual) on a day off. People used to be able to relate to her human qualities and she used to seem nice too, now she's reminds me a bit like a robot. She's trying a bit too hard sometimes I feel IMO. Yes she is stunning, but it's sad that she has allowed the fame to get to her head
