I found the full size MAB too big for me (5'3") unless I was going to haul a lot around. I can see it being a great work bag though.

I'm debating between the MA and the MAM. Does anyone have comparison pictures of the two? And can someone compare the size of either one to a Balenciaga Bag. Like the First, City, Work. Most of my bags are Bals so it would be easier for me to picture if I had a reference point. Thanks!

I should add that it does carry better on the shoulder (except I have a MAM with longer handles) and also it's the wider depth of the bag that feels too big on my body. Love them on other people though!
and I should add most of the MAMs do have the optional shoulder strap. but I prefer to carry with handles
Yes, agree, the larger one is better (for me). Every time I buy a MAM I regret it! The MAB is my 'it bag' for sure.
I had several MAM's back in the day and eventually sold all of them. they are not a tiny bag by any means and proportionally they're probably better on me but I like the MAB better
Yes, exactly!! And really, it's not that much bigger....but you get that amazing 'slouch factor' with the MAB that you just don't get with the MAM.
I prefer the smaller ones as you can wear them crossbody with the shoulder strap. MABs are IMO too large to wear crossbody.
That MAC looks so good! I used to have one exactly like it and then I sold it. Seller's remorse...I recently bought my first MAM from the Real Real - thanks again Antonia for encouraging me! It was a steal at $51 all in (including shipping and tax, with a coupon). I wanted one of these SO BADLY back in 2008/2009 but couldn't afford/justify it, so I'm thrilled to have one now! Turns out I just had to wait 15 years!I sought out a MAM with soft, somewhat textured leather and the chunky zippers because I have a very well-loved MAC with those features that is like an old friend to me - it was my 2010 splurge and was my only purse other than a school tote for several years.
The Real Real said that this bag's condition was "good" and listed a lot of flaws, but I think it's in great shape! Some hardware scuffing and a bit of interior discoloration but no major issues - much better than I expected. I did wash the interior and apply some leather conditioner when I received it.

On a related note, would Brasso or any other polishing agent help with this tarnished hardware? I loved this bag HARD for years (and I was younger and less careful with my stuff then...) so it's looking rough.

Got my celestial "crossbody" Edie flap. I love everything about it except the strap. The strap drop is 19 inches which is too short for me. The listing said it was 21 inches. No. Hits me at the hip so it looks like I have a beautiful growth on my hip. I'm keeping it because it's gorgeous (leather is soft and supple, old brass HW is lovely and has a good weight), but I'm not sure if it will survive my next closet clean-out.

I want to add length to the strap. I guess I could take it to a cobbler/jeweler and they could add links to the chain, but that's another chunk of money. It's not a big deal. It'll just be another dinner date bag.
Wow, that's gorgeous!! Your pics look way better than the online pics!! I sometimes wear my cross body in front of me rather than on my side (or even more towards my back). Would that work better??
