My very first Chanel :heart:

I actually set up my mind to get a black small classic flap (calfskin w/ GHW) when I decided to buy my first Chanel bag, but I ended up getting this one: light color, lambskin, and it’s mini!

I’ve been doubting myself for the decision since it’s not the typical “first Chanel,” but looks like it fits right into my wardrobe since most of my tops and dresses are neutral and pastel colors.

Can’t believe I’m saying this, but my heart is full! :P

The flap looks a bit lopped to one side but it’s probably from the chain being stored through that side. You can easily push it back :smile:. I am more worried about what may be dents near the left of the cc turn lock? Is this a pic from tout

Hi! I’ve been looking everywhere for this bay. Do you have the Reference # or which location you got it from?

It’s the 22C pearl crush beige clair and I got it from an online reseller with a premium (I thought it’s just a consignment store but now I know it’s called a reseller lol). I’d buy in store if I could, but I’m just physically too far away from a boutique :hrmm:
There is a post about Chanel resellers and consignment here on tPF. Maybe that’ll give you more options too other than a physical boutique?

I am based in Australia and since I couldn’t get to a store I emailed Chanel to see if there was any stock of any kind of mini rectangular only to be told

“We regret to advise the CHANEL Mini Flap Rectangular A69900 is unavailable Australia wide. This is a seasonal design and is not offered in every collection”

Do you think they are holding back stock because of price increase?

I’ve only purchased from Chanel once so I don’t have an in… has anyone else experienced this at all?

Based in Sydney, I haven't seen my SA posting any mini rect since 22C started, only one light orange mini square from memory. So I think they might be genuine when saying no mini rect available at the moment. Why there has been a lack of stock, I'm not sure...

It’s such a shame I passed up on a green one late last year because I was set on black but I wish I had just purchased now. All the resale sites mark the price up so high :sad:

This might be true as also here in Hong Kong, I almost visited all the boutique every now and then but I can’t find mini rec in that color, what they have are the mini recs that have prints on it. Lol

I’ve resigned to looking on resale sites for the time being as they told me there are no classic WOCS available either which was the other one I was looking into
I hope you are able to find the one you want!

I understand :drinks: I'm also looking for a black mini square before the price goes up again. Just like the classics, colour black comes back almost every season and I regret not getting it earlier and now will have to pay higher prices for exactly the same bag...

I bought my first Chanel rectangular mini with LGHW at the original Chanel boutique in Paris on January 4th. I went in a week before Christmas and the SA told me there weren’t any in France and that the closest was Florence. She told me they restock daily on weekdays and they don’t know what is coming so to check back daily… lol. I was just passing through Paris so I decided to go again before I went home and got lucky. They only had one, and luckily I got it. Another SA came by within minutes of me looking at it as another client was looking for it haha.
