Thanks @Winiebean ! I think @haute okole wears a 25B sellier on her shoulder, so hoping she sees this tag and has a pic to show you. Part of it is I have a long torso and think wearing a bag long shortens my leg.

@QuelleFromage , my iPhone16 pro fits (so did my 15) but I don’t use a case. I also use a petite H card case which is slimmer than a calvi and my valextra universal eye glass case for sunnies (exposed temples). But that’s about all that I carry.
@880 You are a mind reader! I just took a picture of my outfit yesterday. These are my favorite pants, because I saw them on you and now you, me and @Bdbunny are pants triplets. You were with me when I got this bag and you are right, I wear it all the time. I did have to switch my full size Kelly wallet for a Calvi. I am learning to lighten my dependence on always carrying more than I need where ever I go.

You look amazing! So happy you got this bag! And the pants! Love them on you  @Bdbunny, are we wearing the pants (or the white silk shirt with blue and black?)* around the picnic table lol — Perfection! 🥂

ETA: * even with the same items, it’s fun bc we wear them so differently :hugs:

Quadruplets...I got the pants back in April.

I need to get either a MK or a K25 after seeing all of these photos. Or both.....

Thank you, will check it out 🤩.
MKII will fit my iPhone 16 pro without its case; a card holder, slimmer than a calvi and a few other things . But, I dislike playing purse Tetris, so I can easily go with just an iPhone and a hand sanitizer wipe. I only use my calvi for small denomination bills (usually when traveling. I rarely carry my valextra eye glass case). Note: if I needed to carry larger car or house keys, a MKII would obviously not work here.

1. iPhone, calvi, card case, sanitizer; this can latch

2. iPhone, calvi, card case, sanitizer, plus universal eye glass case* by Valextra ; does not latch. This is still light enough
where I could technically wear it unlatched, but I don’t do that. I’m more likely to remove the phone from the bag.

3. Card case, sanitizer, valextra case, (usually I carry the iPhone in my pocket)

Oddly I don’t carry my K25 as much. It’s deep for a small bag, and the wider base makes it harder to share my seat in a small restaurant. I’d rather the SO Kelly Elan, which, though 28 cm, gives me the feeling of a smaller bag bc it’s quite slim in depth.

I’m 5’2”, medium athletic build; size 36 Hermes RTW. K25, bleu orage; SO Kelly elan, etoupe; argent MKII; Hermes beige camel wool sweater with self belt worn backwards, from 2025 autumn. Rag and bone Miramar jeans.

*valextra eye glass case can carry oversized glasses; exposed temples.

ETA: I prefer to wear a high crossbody bag and dislike a low riding shoulder bag (last pic) . With theK25, the issue of a high crossbody is whether the handle hits your torso in an uncomfortable place. With the So Kelly elan, the issue is the placement of the Touret on a high shoulder carry. My natural stance for the SKE is touret directly in front of the arm which some TPFers find uncomfortable. (The touret placement on a high shoulder carry is even more problematic for the OG shoulder BK bc of its greater depth.

The MKII works for me bc I normally carry very little, often walking out of my house with only a phone. Otherwise I prefer the SKE (more modern and discreet and maneuverable ) to the K25. JMO of course :)

I love this post, thank you for sharing your thoughts and also pics. This made it a bit harder.
I have a B25 and B30 but not Kellys.
I would love to have a kelly elan but not for my first SO. I have a constance elan.
I have had a K25 retourne on my wishlist for a whole since they dont seem to come in retourne that often here.
I would also like a mini kelly with a longer strap but maybe I would have to play tetris with it and my phone.

So for my first SO it will be either a K25 retourne or mini kelly but leaning a bit more to K25 but not 100% sure. I dont carry that much either. Phone, cards, car keys, powder and maybe something more.

Also, I don't have a Mini Kelly, but I do have a Kelly to Go. From what I understand, the KTG fits more than the Mini Kelly (someone did a comparison once on a thread on the PF). I can fit my phone, some CCs, a few bills, a slim lipstick, my car key and a very slim set of reading glasses (I have several sets which I also use for my Chanel WOCs). For me, that's the minimum that I can walk out of the house with. The KTG has card slots and a zippered pocket which helps with the cards/money. After looking at a mini Kelly once, I made the decision that if I wanted a small, cross body bag, it would be another KTG. Mini Kelly is just too small for my needs.

I will try to find the thread.
Just came from a lovely lunch with some mingle and had my B25, just felt that I missed a shoulder strap for this.
So for SO its still k25 or mini. Would be amazing if they would add something lager than a mini and smaller than a 25.

@Sabee , if you know you want both, I would get the MKII as an SO. Simply bc it’s a more difficult ask. But, only if you are okay with putting either the phone or car keys in your pocket

IMO, if you have a decent relationship with your SA, a K25 should eventually come your way. But, these days, they’re usually sellier, not retourne.

The SKE is simply easiest for me to use, if you are okay with the touret and the short shoulder carry. It should be the easiest to get, esp. as it’s not considered an iconic bag.

HTH

ETA: @Sabee , I own both a Kelly retourne and a sellier in size 28. (My K25 is sellier). IMO, sellier is easier to open and close than retourne bc the rigid flap can be opened with one hand I carry very very little, so sometimes use the turn lock without the sangles.

With a retourne, I kind of flex my hand to keep the body open while I search. Since the 25K is deep, I end up just throwing stuff into the inside side pocket lol

I made my SO the K25 retourne and I love it ..but agree with @880 ..it’s not easy to open with one hand. However it’s very easy to use and has a relaxed vibe. If it’s difficult to get MK in your store and it’s on your wishlist then I would do that as SO. In my store everything QB is difficult so my first choice for my SO was my K25 retourne which I don’t see too often in our store. MK is too small for me. Also easier to get K25 S in store as regular offer. ..just my two cents

That would be the KTG or the Kelly Elan.
