Mini Kelly 2 vs Kelly 25

My mini K strap is 90 cm end to end not including the clasps.
Reviving this thread. Could someone with both sizes post mod shots of K25 sellier vs K20? shoulder carry vs crossbody ? Curious about strap length. Seems like K25 wouldn’t work well crossbody. I am ~5’4-5’5 ish. Was set on K25 now I’m wondering if K20 is more what I’m looking for. I constantly carry my CTG for errands, store, etc. and don’t carry much so wondering if a mini K might get more use than K25. TIA
I'll try to find some photos or get you some later. 🙂 At barely 5"1 I find it possible but not that comfortable to wear either bag style crossbody because of the standard length of the straps. My SM told me these are not meant to be worn crossbody and only shoulder carried. I would need to special order longer straps for that to work. The K20 capacity is perfect for me otherwise on a day to day basis as it fits my phone and cards, wipes, tissues, lipstick and keys. I tend to now use my K25s a lot for travels as I like to carry an umbrella for walks.
This is the only pic I could find as I only wear my MKs crossbody and tend to hand carry the 25s. HTH!

I wear my MKII crossbody and I am 5’2”. But I like a high crossbody on a very small bag like this or the TPM. (I find the Evelyn tpm strap a bit too long, so I haven’t checked to see if TPM hardware could be used on the MKII). For a K25, second pic is high crossbody, slung to my back. It only works bc I don’t mind it across the top of my chest for a very short period. But crossbody is not ideal on K25. If I were any taller, a crossbody wouldn’t work for either bag in any circumstance. I prefer to carry all top handled bags by hand. I don’t like to wear any Kelly bags shoulder carry bc I prefer sellier, and I find I bump the corners, and it feels less secure to me. Of course all of this is subjective and JMO. Good luck deciding.
I’m your similar height - 5’4”. I think it depends on your build if you can crossbody these bags. I can only do a K25 if I sling it to my back which I don’t do. It’s just not my style. K20 I can crossbody fine as I prefer it high anyway. However if you have a larger upper body/chest (I’m very small on the top) it might not work.

@880 You look great with both looks! I love K20 crossbody high. Agreed about K25, doesn’t seem like it would really work crossbody in the front. However, I really like your look slung to the back. Thank you both for posting. These are really helpful! I always thought I wanted K25🤔I already own K28 retourne for casual use. So getting a mini K may be more useful at this point. DH says who are you kidding, you will have both 🤷♀️😂 I feel like at my store with how competitive it is, I would need to go reseller route for mini. My SA has said it’s easier getting K25 there. Who knows though. I would be more open on colors whereas my last wishlist item was more color specific. I’d love a craie/gold/blue.
I am tall - 5’10” - and I can crossbody my k25 in “emergency” situations. Carrying luggage, rain, running to catch a train. I am small chested + slender and it doesn’t look stylish but it’s possible when really necessary.
I have and love both of these bags but I have to say that I find the 25 more useful. My iPhone Pro must've been loading its carbs and having dessert, because for me, my phone will NOT go in the MK2 unless I remove its case and angle it. That and the Tetris of getting the phone out are enough to make me switch to a 25 or a different bag entirely (like a mini Bolide), unless I have another way to stash my phone.
JMO, and I'm barely 5'2", neither bag works well crossbody unless you specified a longer strap, or change the strap; but then, I like crossbody bags to hit below or at my waist, no higher. YMMV.

Thanks @Winiebean ! I think @haute okole wears a 25B sellier on her shoulder, so hoping she sees this tag and has a pic to show you. Part of it is I have a long torso and think wearing a bag long shortens my leg.
@QuelleFromage , my iPhone16 pro fits (so did my 15) but I don’t use a case. I also use a petite H card case which is slimmer than a calvi and my valextra universal eye glass case for sunnies (exposed temples). But that’s about all that I carry.
