Mini Jodie vs Mini Pouch 20?

Perhaps it would help you to decide if you have a look to your wardrobe? Do you have a lot of neutral coloured clothes (kiwi would spice it up)? Or do you have a lot of different colours, floral, prints etc? (In this case a neutral bag is easier to match)
And you can also take in consideration the colour of your new Jodie?
You can never go wrong with the sandalwood. It's a very elegant tone of beige, intrecciato looks classic, it's easy to match... But I have the impression that you are looking for different colours (when I see your choices for the Jodie bag), am I right? ☺

well my new jodie is in lavender ...

have you seen the sandalwood in real life? is it yellowish beige? or more towards brown beige?

i'm just worried i made the wrong decision, because few years back, i got the balenciaga in burgundy color, and now i wish i had gotten it in black or maybe nude?

My 2 cents:
- intrecciato looks more luxe than smooth leather and is a signature veneta
- you already got a pop of color in the mini Jodie. Maybe go for a neutral in the pouch?
- other option: wait till you receive your Jodie and see if you will actually be able to incorporate the color with your style. Sometimes it is best not to quickly purchase several bags together.

I think I will not help you saying that: I have the feeling that you would rationally choose the black or the sandalwood, but that if you follow your heart, you would pick the kiwi...

I haven't seen the sandalwood in real life... They have also 2 other beiges, Almonds (O don't know why they gave the same name to two different colours!)

But i guess i will get one in neutral color. either black or sandalwood i guess.
More practical and wouldn't look too weird on me even when i'm in my 50s

Thanks, yeahh i will wait until i've receive the Jodie.
Hopefully i will like it and can accept a smaller version of the bag,
Coz right now, the only reason why i get the Jodie is because it is bigger,
i very much prefer mini pouch 20 coz it has the long strap.

My new Mini Jodie in Lavender. I love love love the color!!!
But...
I’m not quite sure how i feel about this bag. It’s not the easiest to get things in and out of it.

And definitely quite small although the length is 26cm?
I was thinking the mini pouch would be easier because of the way it opens but the size is smaller right?

It’s such a pretty color! You were saying on another thread that the bag makes you happy. Are you having second thoughts?
For me this is a special outing bag (dinner, special event..) where you don’t really need to carry much and you don’t need to reach for your stuff frequently. It’s definitely not an everyday bag IMO.
I hope someone can comment about the functionality of the mini pouch. I would love one in a fun color but from what I’ve read you can’t fit a phone in which makes it a no go for me.

I don’t know why i have the impression that it can fit more..
I’m guessing with the mini pouch20 I would be lucky if i can even fit one phone..

I had the same dilemma. Bought the mini Jodie in black and love it. It softens and everything fits in. You get used to the opening. Tried to fit my things in the mini pouch and just couldn’t do it. I still hanker after the mini pouch but can’t justify a bag where I’ll need to carry my phone separately ‍♀️

I showed a picture of what fits in my mini Jodie on the Jodie thread if you’d like to see it. But basically I carry a small wallet, 6 key holder from Louis Vuitton, eye glasses with pouch, iphone 11 and a small hand sanitizer.

Without a doubt the Jodie in lavender. So stunning - this color is even more beautiful in real life.

I have the mini jodie and used to have the pouch but ended up selling it. My main complaint about the pouch was that my phone had to fit at a certain angle... so annoying. I’ve only used my mini Jodie a few times but the leather has already softened, so it’s easier to get things in and out. But as another poster mentioned, this is not an everyday bag.
