Miley Cyrus takes the stage to belt out Sir Mix-A-Lot‘s famous song “Baby Got Back” at Cat’s Meow on Monday evening (March 17) in New Orleans, La.

The 21-year-old entertainer’s karaoke performance was caught on video – check it out below!

Later that evening, Miley was spotted hanging out in town with a group of pals.

Miley is currently in New Orleans to perform her Bangerz tour tonight. In case you missed the news, Miley‘s Bangerz tour bus erupted in flames the night before! Thanksfully, no one was hurt in the accident.

Miley added a water sports element to her concert Thursday night -- taking giant gulps of water and spitting it back out ... all over the audience.

She pulled the stunt several times and even more baffling … is the fact the audience seemed to like it.

If Katy Perry was worried by a quick peck, imagine what would have happened if Miley pulled this on her.

Wait, actually that would be kinda hot.

She might be a bit risque and raunchy but shes stayed out of trouble.

I never say anything nice in Miley's thread, but the New Orleans Sir Mix A Lot thing at Cat's Meow was really cute. Cat's is a very packed Bourbon Street bar. Most celebrities wouldn't fell safe singing up there, kudos to Miley. She was a great sport and I can tell our locals were loving her.

Earlier in the evening, the 21-year-old entertainer was spotted leaving the concert venue in the back seat of her car.

During the week, a video surfaced of Miley on stage during her Tampa show, where she was sipping water from a bottle and chatting with the audience.

You Can Now Study Miley Cyrus At This Pricey College

Miley Cyrus has officially entered the world of academia.

Buzzfeed reports Skidmore College in upstate New York, one of the most expensive colleges in the country, will be offering a summer class on the twerking singer to serve as a "lens" on race, gender, class, and media issues -- not the life and times of Cyrus.

The leaked syllabus describes the course's goal to examine the "ongoing media frenzy focused on Miley Cyrus' public image, music, and body," which actually sounds pretty interesting.

Carolyn Chernoff, a visiting assistant professor at Skidmore, will lead the class. According to her staff page, Chernoff specializes in the "role of culture in reproducing and transforming social inequality" and is the cofounder of The Girls’ DJ Collective.

The class officially groups Cyrus into a growing number of college courses focusing on the social implications of celebrities and pop culture.
