Miley Cyrus lifts up her top to “free her nipples” while waiting to catch a flight out of Teterboro Airport on Saturday afternoon (December 14) in New Jersey.

The 21-year-old entertainer’s private plane was grounded in the tri-state area due to a major snowstorm and after hours of waiting, she wasn’t able to take off and had to cancel her appearance at Boston’s Jingle Ball concert.

“As much as I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the Teterboro Airport I would REALLY love to be playing #jingleball #Boston,” Miley tweeted. “Mechanical issues + bad weather = 🚫✈️ stuck in NYC and can’t get to Boston for #KISS108JingleBall. Cheers to BOSTON ❤️❤️❤️ imma make it back to you April 2nd I PROMISE!!!!!”

“It’s not about getting your titties out. It’s about equality. ❤️” Miley tweeted earlier in the day after posting her topless photo.

Maybe because she has little boobies she thinks she's a boy and can go topless? I mean I don't have a lot going on in the boob department, but I like shirts. And bras. I'm good with inequality. I think ladies should keep their shirts on. In America, we've deemed boobs way too sexual, so that wouldn't work here.

Earlier in the day, the 21-year-old entertainer was spotted flashing a smile in a different outfit backstage.

Miley Cyrus steps out of SUV and into a building on Tuesday (December 17) in Miami, Fla.

The 21-year-old entertainer recently opened up to Barbara Walters for the upcoming ABC News special, Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2013.

“I was so scared of ever being alone, and I think, conquering that fear, this year, was actually bigger than any other transition that I had, this entire year,” Miley said about her split with Liam Hemsworth. “I don’t ever want to have to need someone again, where you feel like, without them, you can’t be yourself.”

“I don’t think I realized what 19 truly is, and I got engaged at 19, and I definitely wouldn’t change being engaged. It was so fun wearing a fat rock for a few years,” Miley said. “But now, I just feel like I can actually be happy. I wait for those moments of silence, when I’m just at my house, by myself.”
