On her insane year: Everything is so chaotic and crazy right now and its so much all at once, but Im living for it. Im just having the best time ever and everythings falling into place like its supposed to. Even people who want to hate on me, they cant even shut down the fact that Im literally what everyone is talking about. I dont want to say that Im on top right now I feel like Im kind of an underdog in a cool way. Its almost punk rock to like me because its not the right thing to do. Like, society wants to shut me down.
On her VMA performance: When people started complaining about the awards show, I was like, Have you never seen the f-cking video? And what if I hadnt done that performance? The VMAs would have been bad. They would have been missing something. The show was kind of making fun of how serious the pop industry is.
On being single: I need to treat my music like a relationship give it my time and all the attention it deserves and thats my main love right now. This is the best time of my life. Im not going to look back on it and be like, I wish I hadnt been dwelling over a breakup, you know? Because thats not what God wants my life to be about right now. God wants my life to be about being successful and being happy and blessing other people and being blessed.

I can see where she's coming from with that comment. When you hit 20 you're not a teenager anymore. I'm 21 and i'm graduating university soon, it is scary. Up until i finished high school, time went by so slowly. 4 years of high school felt like 10 years. 4 years of university felt like a year. Real life starts to creep up when you enter your twenties so yeah it is scary.
