I think she was lying about what it was, that's why I said "salvia", lol!
Rihanna is pictured being up to no good but doesn't give interviews telling people how awesome the hard stuff is.
SOOOOO true. That's what makes Miley a try-hard.

My point. If a 27-year-old took inspiration from a TV show on how to get rid of his girlfriends body, whos to say that all entertainment isn't indirectly and directly responsible for kids AND adults doing stupid things?lol! Sorry, but it's just not comparable. A 13 yr old is different than a 27 yr old. A 27 yr old planning to kill is different than a 13 yr old hearing about "molly" for the first time and wanting to try it because someone she thinks is cool says it's cool. It's simply reckless.
Again, this is exactly what Im saying. We cant make blanket statements that Miley is influencing Americas youth to do drugs because shes making statements about how SHE enjoys doing drugs. No more than we can blame all violence on TV inspiring adults to kill others. With your argument, all violence on tv is responsible for ADULTS getting innovative ways to kill others. By the way, this is about Miley, not every loon that kills people and says he got the idea from a Metallica song, Dexter or a video game. We're talking about a girl that knows she's followed by KIDS and still publicly supports a hard drug.
What? Where did I say that Breaking Bad is glamorising drugs? I said that Miley makes a good point when she said that BB arguably teaches people how to cook meth. How is it glamorization? Again, it takes an idiot to relate the tragic fall of WW to the glamorization of molly/MDMA/ecstasy. I don't understand why "information about how to make drugs/drug = glamorization" AT ALL.
Completely agree. And if someone, be it a 15-year-old or 50-year-old wants to try something called Molly, theyre going to do it, regardless of whether Miley is singing its praises or not. Case in point, Ive never heard of Molly until this thread frankly, and I havent had the inclination to even Google it.If someone really wants to cook meth/acidify a body, they're going to do it...
Listen babe youre preaching to the choir here. I dont get the allure of drugs so I really dont get what these celebs are on about or why when Snoop posts a picture of him holding two bags of green stuff, it's supposedly awesome. I just take umbrage at the fact that were expecting her to be a role model to impressionable kids when thats not her job and she is clearly making that obvious. Its like when Rihanna went back to Chris Brown and everyone was irked about it and what type of message it sends to young girls. The wrong message yes, but the world has gone severely wrong by allowing its kids to look up to a select handful of individuals who are fallible and imperfect and live in a universe that is simply not built on positivity, normalcy and responsibility. I also feel like the level of dislike she's getting right now is disproportionate to her crimes. At the worst, she's trashy and tacky, says stupid things and sticks her gross tongue out too much.I don't see why it's so hard for people to see the difference - this is almost exactly like the "weed isn't a drug" debate.

.
the difference being that most people above the age of let's say 12 understand the difference between fiction and reality, between violence as a plot device for entertainment and story lines and a real life person encouraging dangerous behavior in real life.

Tell that to the very example above - the ADULT who copied a TV scene in disposing of his girlfriend's body. Like I keep saying, one is not worse than than the other.
In the interests of moving this thread forward, I was kind of surprised to hear that her father doesnt feature in her documentary (her mother does). She and her father seem to have the oddest relationship, sometimes she seems to really dislike him, when she was calling him out on Twitter.
Well for one, ecstasy is a designer drug, so it can be laced with literally anything... and all the druggies claim to get a better fix off of ecstasy than they would with cocaine or heroin... and like I said earlier... people can be in the ER or in the morgue almost immediately after using it... so Miley with her little young fans promoting it is not cute...
My point. If a 27-year-old took inspiration from a TV show on how to get rid of his girlfriend’s body, who’s to say that all entertainment isn't indirectly and directly responsible for kids AND adults doing stupid things?
No. The guy didn't get inspired to kill his gf from the TV show (and even if he did, it's still not the same). He simply used a body disposal technique from the show. Is BB airing every week and saying "Hey guys...we kill people cause it's cool". No. It's simply a fictional show that's about drug dealers.
MC IS saying "Hey kids, Molly is cool!". MC is endorsing it, BB is not. Miley is a real person who kids look up to. She's ACTUALLY doing these bad things and saying it's OK to do them. BB IS NOT ACTUALLY doing those bad things, so they're not saying it's OK to do them. If you can't see the difference here, I'm not sure what else to say.
