oh I thought that music producer guy was much older than 24!

unlike "we can't stop" her song "wrecking ball" is actually decent and her voice sounds great in it! but with that music video no one's gonna take her seriously... sad!

The only thing I ever have for this thread is the fact that I am embarrassed for her. Bless her heart... this train wreck is painful to watch. When this whole thing crashes/her popularity dies it won't be pretty. JMO.

People are criticizing her because she is trying wayyyyyy too hard, is completely awkward and unsexy, and the antics are just tacky and falling flat.

I have to say that I am surprised the media isn't calling her out for the whole exploitation of little people in every one of her performances.

How is she exploiting little people? They are choosing to be in her video and performances. And how are her antics falling flat? Both her songs in fact are doing really well. I can't be arsed to go look up the chart thing but she's the name on everyone's lips. In this industry, no publicity is bad publicity apparently. Does she look foolish and wacked out? Sure, why not. No more or worse than Gaga or Rihanna or Britney or Katy at various stages. Apparently this is what passes for entertainment, wearing the bare minimum and doing weird things on stage.

She is looking so skinny, I wish she'd put on a few pounds.

She has people talking and even though she is a wreck, wrecks generate interest. The media will continue to support her for that alone.
