Thanks for posting these gorgeous pics to drool over. Still loving the Uptown Astor. I just love the studs.
I have finally located one store where can I go and see these in person. They only have Michael Kors, not Michael Michael Kors - these are a bit out of my price range but gorgeous anyway.
So I made another trip to the mall and the MK store to see the newer bags and others I hadn't seen yet. Some met my expectations, some exceeded them, and a few fell short.
The raised studs in the Uptown Astor line definitely add an element of bling that took me by surprise. If you like soft yet durable leather and studs, you'll love these bags.
I found myself attracted to the Zuma line, which I initially didn't pay much attention to kuz of the lack of hardware on the bags. The satchel is feather light and easy to handle. I'm loving the black and gunmetal (silverish) ones.
I was surprised to find that the leather on the Heidi Large Shoulder Bag was stiff and tough. I was not expecting that at all. The Large Satchel, however, is made of soft lambskin. While I like how the former looks, I don't like how it feels.
For those who like snakeskin, the Rehearsal python satchels are incredibly beautiful. Speaking about Rehearsals, on my way out I made a quick stop at Nordstroms and got to see one of my all-time MKs--the Rehearsal Patchwork. All I can say is .
Hey Karmenzs! I was at the mall yesterday and went into Nordies. There I saw the Lattington. Smartest bag ever! Three compartments and very sleek looking. -Even has feet protecting the bag. The double shoulder straps weren't a problem. It might become my next bag.
