you know, I'm going to share with you girls something.

he did not want to do this tour. we are not surprised this happened. I used to joke with my DH that he would fake his own death and that this is not out of the realm of possibility.

I just watched his brother Jermaine, make a statement, and believe me, either it has not sank in for him or he is acting. His brothers and sisters and mama loved him so much. They would all be inconsolable. Jermaine has always been the "go to" guy when it comes to family statements. He can keep it together. I would not blame him if he faked his own death. But I would also not be surprised if he really went into cardiac arrest due to all the medication he was taking. He worshipped Elvis and Howard Hughes. We always knew he would go due to an overdose. The poor man never had a normal life. He was so messed up. But he was so talented. I'm just rambling cause he touched our life ever so briefly and even though I gave him the benefit of the doubt, I am just glad he is out of the misery he was truly in. If he is guilty of the things he is accused of, he is standing before his Maker who is merciful. Its between them. There will never be another MJ. He was blessed for some reason. Just appreciate what he left behind. I pray for his family, his children.

Just so sad when he had the tour planned to try to get his finances in order but it was a huge undertaking, I don't think that he would have been fit!

BTW: I have to say that the horrid rancid jokes that are already circulating are appalling, how disgusting can people be! My DD saw some of these posted on facebook, sick!

Poor man never had a chance, never had a childhood. That is why I believe that he tried to recreate this & never ever did what he is accused of. If he faked his death good luck to him he deserves peace but if it is true & I think it must be then I am sure that the Lord will be kind to him, he gave so much, left a great legacy & certainly used the talents that he was given. He had his hell on earth, the people that need forgiveness are those that lied on him to get money!

My parents had the We are the World tape, and that became our road trip to Canada soundtrack.

My first big album was Bad.

I remember the excitement I felt the night the Scream video premiered. (You know, back when MTV used to air music videos).

I was about 14 at the time. I was waiting for the video to start . . . I think it came on around 10:00 . . . and my dad came downstairs and asked why I wasn't getting ready for bed yet. I hadn't gotten ready for bed yet because I had gotten special permission to stay up to watch the video.

I remember being amazed by both the song and the video.

BagAngel I completely agree with you.


He didn't do those things because that thought would never even occur to him. In his mind, he was a kid having sleepovers with his friends.

This is so strange because I used to sing "Rock With You" to my youngest son when he was just an infant ...... born 30 years ago tomorrow, 6/26/79. Seems so odd to hear it now knowing Michael is not with us anymore. :sad:

I would never say he was not guilty of what he was accused of. I don't know. I have no proof. I do know people on his road crew who did not want their kids anywhere close to him and I do know what childhood abuse is like. If he was a victim, which I believe he was, he fell into the trap of child abuse. He needed help but had too xxxxx many YES people around him who would not call him out on his crap, thus children may have suffered. But, their parents didn't seem to mind when money was mentioned. Don't get me started. I always knew he needed help but would dismiss anyone who did not agree with him 100% of the time.

Shoo, this gives me the shivers, no matter what "really" has happened. How tragic that those with incredible gifts and talents can be so traumatized at the same time. I will never forget him as the lil' ham in the Jackson 5.

My prayers to him and the entire family.

Omg I know. SO many people have posted jokes on my facebook. & people have been posting the pictures of him in an ambulance about too.. absolutely disgusting.

I've been listening to MJ all night, it just doesn't seem real :(
