I am close to crying...I am watching and listening to "Ben" on Youtube over and over...mourning for the world's loss of a true legend...

LovinMyMulberry, that is such a wonderful piece of memorabilia. I always wanted to see MJ in concert. That is one of my only regrets, I hope in death he will be able to find the peace that escaped him in life.

(sorry if I sound like a bit of a loon. Im far from being the biggest MJ fan in the world - but I really appreciated his music & his whole .. showmanship I guess.)

I grew up in the 60's and 70's with The Jackson 5 and Michael Jackson...Michael Jackson was my first "crush"...Michael and Jermaine actually. I dunno why I'm not "sad" about his death, more like shocked. I am thinking about his poor little children, my heart goes out to them and I HOPE they will be and grow up and be okay!!!!
I remember watching The Jackson's The Movie, produced by Suzanne De Passe and wow...I DO feel REALLY sad about how used and abused Michael (and his brothers and other kids in their family) was when he was little. That had a LOT to do with why he turned out the way he did--may he RIP!
Anyway, here's a video tribute to MJ from media takeout that shows him singing and dancing his tail off from when he was a little HANDSOME boy up until he was grown.

the man was so talented and so tortured. I knew this was coming. Didn't think it would happen this soon.
My love and prayers go out to his Mama and his family. He is at peace now. Something he wanted all his life. His life touched ours personally - I always wanted him to know peace and now he has it in abundance.

What a terrible loss. My sympathies go out to his family. His legacy will not be forgotten. Truly a great entertainer.
I can't believe he is really gone what a shock. My prayers go out to his children and his family. I was one of the girls and I know there were many who was going to marry mj when I grew up lol. He was one of the greatest performers in the world and I know a lot of people will miss him.
