My whole family is in utter disbelief. Regardless to the scandals and controversies surrounding him, he was one of the greatest. :cry:

CNN live feed is interviewing reporters who've interacted with him... So sad. He was very frail and weak in real life apparently.
I listen to Michael Jackson every single day and I am not kidding, I was born in the 80s and my dad used to play his music all the time, so pretty much his music was in my childhood and I am really sad today that he is gone, I am still afraid to listen to any song now because I will really cry

Jackson family spokesperson is on CNN talking right now-- he won't confirm but has pretty much alluded in so many words that MJ has passed away.
The delay in confirming appears to be related to Joe Jackson, MJ's father. The spokesperson says that JJ was in Las Vegas when this happened and they are waiting for him to arrive at the hospital.

So sad. I have not cared for him in recent years, but part of me will always remember him when I was 9 years old and had such a crush on him. A friend of our family took me and her daughter to see the Jackson 5 in concert in like 1974 or so. I screamed my head off. So sad for his children as they are still fairly young.
