I have a 15 year old that has suffered from bullying and it is hard for kids. She is such a young kid and putting her through Trial must be hard. I hope she can overcome everything she is going through and get healthy, emotionally.

I don't particularly agree with the "if she can't take the criticism, then whoever is in charge should make her stay away from such things." Can't keep them in a bubble you know.
I meant if she is so easily affected by criticism, she shouldn't have youtube videos and personal websites. That's for the tough ones, not the sensitive 15 year olds.

it's sad. she's at a difficult age anyway and then having all this wealth and surrounded by greedy people.
but that said, I'm already getting tired of the media coverage
I hope her grandmother can give her the love and support she needs and get her the appropriate treatment

LEFT SUICIDE NOTE,
CUT HERSELF WITH MEAT CLEAVER

Paris Jackson left a suicide note and then cut her arm with a meat cleaver ... TMZ has learned.

Sources with an intimate knowledge of the situation tell TMZ ... Michael Jackson's daughter called a suicide hotline and the person on the other end was alarmed enough to call 911.

Our sources say in addition to cutting her right forearm, Paris had taken a large number of Motrin pills.

We're told once Paris was taken by stretcher to an ambulance and then transported to a nearby hospital, she was placed under a 5150 psychiatric hold for 72 hours.

She received "numerous stitches" for the cut.

As for the suicide note ... we do not know what she wrote.

The newspapers (not tabloids) are reporting that she was forbidden to go to a Marilyn Manson concert at the Gibson Amphitheatre in LA and threw a fit. If that's true, I take back what I said about her.

If that piece of information is true it would suggest the behaviour of someone with some kind a narcissistic personality disorder. It wouldn't be surprising, she's hasn't been raised by the most stable people in the world.

I read in a CNN article that some of the sources are not calling it a suicide but more a cry for help... whatever that means.

Paris called a suicide counseling hot line, which led to a counselor calling 911 to the Jackson home in Calabasas, California, the sources said. Other Jackson sources stopped short of calling the incident a suicide attempt, although one suggested it might be "a cry for help."

Guy not too far from here tried several years back. Used a shotgun. Slipped at the last second and ended up severely disabled and disfigured for the rest of his life.

There was no mistake about his intentions.

In a case like Paris, they can tell from the direction and depth of the cuts whether it was a serious attempt or not.

What a truly bizarre life this young woman has had. She lived in complete seclusion until her father's passing and into the spotlight. I would imagine that reading and learning about her father has been shocking to say the least. I hope she gets the help she needs and she's going to need a lot of help.

Poor poor poor Girl... She needs help... And with help I mean a true loving family and TRUE friends that catch her when she falls - not pushing her into spotlight. It was a huge mistake when they pushed the kids into public. IMO.

And bullying is something which should be taken serious. You take all the words personal and serious PLUS most of the time it doesn't last with just words...

I think it's less NPD and more a child turning her anger toward something she can actually deal with emotionally (ie unfair curfew instead of deep mourning).

Why do I get the feeling that Jermaine is, yet again, that Jackson source?

Aren't most unsuccessful suicide attempts a cry for help?

On the radio this morning they said the police classified it as a suicide attempt but they didn't think she actually wanted to kill herself she just wanted attention. She called a suicide hotline and warned them.

I hope she gets the help she needs and makes it through this tough time.
