My sister came to visit me and we went to see the movie together. For me, the movie brought me back to the MJ I fell in love with when I was a kid. He was such an incredibly talented man and I was so glad that the movie allowed people to see that part of him again. I truly believe that the concert could have brought him back to being more of a musical genius and less of "Wacko-Jacko." It's such a tragedy that his life ended the way it did...

I am so glad there is a place on here to share. I hope you don't mind if I share. *sigh* I am sorry to say I hadn't kept up with Michael since the early 90's. I didn't even know he was touring. I am so glad that I got to experience his work as an adult. It has brought back all the love I had for him as a child. His was some of the first music I ever listened too. I got to see the movie today. I was happy to experience him again but wished it wasn't under such sad circumstances.

I just saw it tonight and feel the same way you did. My parents bought Thriller (on record!) when I was 6 and I would play it over and over in my room. Strangely, for as much as I loved it I never bought another album. I enjoyed his music on the radio and on MTV and I remember our high school music teacher discussing "Black or White" with us, but I never felt the push to really purchase anything else.

I really wish I had gone to see an MJ concert when I was younger. What a loss.

Michael should be remembered for his dance, music, and songwriting. It's nice but sad that prior to his death people forgot how talented he really was as an artist. Don't miss AMA Nov 22nd Janet Jackson will be opening. She will probably accept many awards on his behalf. Janet will give a live interview on November 18th @ 10pm to Robin Roberts ABC and discuss continuing the family legacy of music & dance, her brother's death, his children and much more I'm sure.

That's very interesting that he killed himself. I didn't like him. The point why I didn't like him is that he spoiled MJ's life and made his life to hell. I don't understand how money has such a big role in people's life?! :pout:
Don't get me wrong I like money too but it doesnt have such a high level in my life. I like to buy myself nice things but I would never go so far that I would spoil someone's life.

Don't do unto others what you would not have done unto you. That's the way I think.

I'm sorry when this post got too honest and when I got too close to one of the members! It's just my opinion which I stand up for.:whiteflag:

OMG THIS IS IT---I have no words, no words for this fantastic movie. I was speechless, mesmerized, in a trance watching Michael on screen do his work. It seems everyone else in the movie house were that way too because you see untouched popcorns and drinks everywhere! He is AMAZING! Need I mention we all clapped at the end of the movie! WOW!

It was soooo great that I watched it multiple times with different people. Amazing especially in IMAX--damn, Michael looks so hot for a 50 year old! He looks hot even for a 40 year old!

Is he really 50???! How can anyone be 50 and look so dashing? Ang God, how can he even move like that! He literally made his backup dancers invisible! Your eyes are just pinned on him and you cant even eat your popcorn watching him coz he is so damn mesmerizing! AHHHHHHHH Michael is soooo dashing and amazing!:urock:

I wasnt surprised about his energy and vigor in This is It though. Michael passed a 6-hour full medical and physical exam conducted independently by Lloyds of London for Insurance purposes only 6 months before he passed and his autopsy results stated he was a HEALTHY MAN when he passed. He had a healthy heart, healthy kidney and healthy liver. His autopsy also stated he is negative for painkillers and negative for any type of oral pills. The only thing the coroner found in his system are the medications administered by Murray which Murray admitted to giving Michael for INSOMNIA. That is why his death was ruled as HOMICIDE.

Amazingly, THIS IS IT is not only critically acclaimed, it is also phenomenal sales-wise for its genre. It is now the record-holder for the Biggest Selling Concert Movie in History and the Biggest Selling Documentary Film in History, beating Fahrenheit 9-11. This man is still breaking records after life!

I would rather have him back though--Michael PLEASE COME BACK!

ON A DIFFERENT NOTE:

Okay, Evan Chandler blew his brains out with his own gun last Nov 5, 2009. RADARONLINE, YAHOO and CNN reported it NOV 18 because there was supposed to be a media blackout on it but Radaronline thankfully caught the news. Actually thats not the real headliner, the most shocking thing of all is that according to the funeral home, NO FAMILY and NO FRIENDS CAME to his wake. NOT EVEN Jordan who lives in the same state. I wonder what his family knows about him that made them miss his wake.:hrmm: Evan's brother came to the funeral home a few days after just to get his ashes...hmmmmm, honestly-- Im not surprised at everyone's indifference towards this guy. It only reflects WHAT KIND OF A PERSON he truly is. He has been sick for many years now, but he's not THAT sick coz he even underwent plastic surgery to copy ROB LOWE's face. He also could have blown his brains out last year if its about his illness but no, he decided to blow it this year when he's supposed to be celebrating Michael's demise if Michael really did anything to his son---pathetic liar.

If Evan committed suicide last year and Michael is still alive, believe me the LAPD will arrest Michael pointing him as responsible for it. It would have served Evan's vendetta well if he blew his brains out last year if Michael really wronged his son. I lost my trust with LAPD a long time ago, they are lame attention whores! California will be a better place with a better law enforcement agency :lecture:

My take on this: One will never know how hard and tormenting it is once your own conscience JUDGES you. You are your own worst enemy so dont sell your soul to the devil for MONEY :noworry:

If anyone wants to know more about the 1993 settlement, this is a very good article because it sums up all the facts in the leaked settlement documents and the case files in CHANDLER vs JACKSON:

CHANDLER SUICIDE HIGHLIGHTS MEDIA BIAS AGAINST JACKSON

The leaked 1993 settlement documents can be found here:

MICHAEL JACKSON's 1993 SETTLEMENT FILES LEAKED

I have read the 2005 court case transcripts too and man, that case was an obvious INSULT to the California taxpayers! The case dont even have legs to stand on and the DA wasted taxpayer money on that one just to humiliate Michael for the fluke case in 1993--unbelievable.

I admired Michael's music, and I am sorry that he died. He was a great entertainer and performer. But I cannot say I am a fan of his. His behavior with children for one thing. Very strange. Also, coming on national television and claiming to be the bio father of his three kids. Ridiculous. I don't understand why he had to lie.

Must of his issues with the media stemmed from his own bizarre and destructive behavior.

liveincdc what is so ridiculous with claiming to be the father of those 3 kids?how sure are you that he is lying?coming on national television is his job, his work its not like he is some random person on the street who was asked to be inteviewed about his kids. what is strange with his behavior with children?he is a sweet and loving person who loves children is there something wrong with that?
he is an entertainer and an artist -he doesn't have a bizarre and destructive behavior, maybe for some he does because of his changing looks but he just wants to reinvent himself he never pestered anyone or was a problem to anyone, i dont understand why he is judged the way he has been when all he ever wanted was to love and be loved.

i was watching the pats and saints game last night and one fan had a MJ mask with a sequin blazer and black shirt. Did anyone catch that? Although it was funny and tasteless at the same time, I thought once again "can't believe he is gone"
