Michael Jackson's Unreleased Song

Posted Jul 16th 2009 1:55PM by TMZ Staff

We've just obtained the track for an unreleased song Michael Jackson recorded.

The song -- "A Place with No Name" -- sounds similar to the song "A Horse with No Name" released by the group America back in 1971. We're told several years ago America's manager gave his group's permission for Jackson to record the song, "A Place with No Name" -- despite the similarity.

America's current manager, Jim Morey, who was also Michael's manager in the late 80's and early 90's, tells us, "The band was honored that Michael chose to do their song and they hope it becomes available for all Michael's fans to hear."

It's unclear when Michael recorded the song.

It's a short audio clip, but I think it sounds great. Click here to listen: http://www.aolcdn.com/tmz_audio/071609_michael.mp3

I remember that song. It sounded like Neil Young.

They showed pictures of the children going to the Jehovah's Witness center, they were dressed very nicely in white shirts and Paris had her hair tied back very neatly and was wearing glasses.

What struck me was that when we saw pictures of them unmasked and out with Michael, they were very casually dressed and their hair was typical of children their age and sort of disheveled, which I thought was nice, because he was letting them be themselves... but here they are going to a place Michael turned his back on. I guess he knew what he was doing leaving them to his mother?

So no more birthdays and Christmases for them? Sad.

But all 3 kids are white - not just skin color, but facial characteristics too. I know that kids can turn out wildly different from their parents, but I highly doubt that all 3 would end up white (although I am aware that no one really knows where Blanket came from) if MJ was the biological father.

I think they look like they are a mix. I am not sure about the older boy. Doesn't he have bright blonde hair? I think Paris reminds me a bit of OJ's daughter. I guess it doesn't matter. They are nice looking kids.

African Americans look like everything and have for the few centuries that gene pool group has been around. Plenty of African Americans look "white." A lot look "whiter" than some white people. What do you expect black people to look like? And what, exactly, do white people look like?

Years ago in college, I had a physical Anthropology teacher who said that there is no such thing as race because there is more variation within a 'race' than between races. I thought about it a lot and discussed it with her at length but at the end of the day, she was right. Race was created so people could stereotype people.

but then again, none of us should see color and perhaps he didn't. .

I think he very much DID see color which is why he made it such a point to get kids the color that he wanted.

As far as who is the father, of course he was their parent. I think the only reason it needs to be discussed is because of the custody issues. It is really no one's business who the bio parents are other than that.

He's not the biological father of his kids.

Lol! And just how do know this? Media reports? Or perhaps you were there when they were each conceived? Since his family seems uncertain of this information I'm not sure how you've come across such privileged knowledge.

ETA: Blanket, imo, looks very much like Michael, more so than Prince & Paris, & quite a few people have said the same thing. Either way, it's nobody's business.
