Sarah needs to lay off the Botox. I'm started to get annoyed about seeing these expressionless botoxed faces on the silver screen.

Of course I would have given my left kidney to see Sarah's botoxed face at tomorrow's screening of TYAS at the LFF, but it's been sold out forever!

For the London peeps: Benedict Cumberbatch will definitely attend. My guess is that Michael and Steve will be there as well.

Of course no one condones the horrors of slavery by any means, Fassbender only explained the complexity and different layers of Epps. He doesn’t just play Epps as a mean guy, it's just easy to be mean, Epps he plays him as someone who is cruel yet ignorant and confused within himself and tries to right that by his very twisted ways, which gave Fassbender performance equally engaging and utterly repelling. So perhaps when the film gets a wider release, they shall see what he meant. It's not necessarily sympathize with Epps, it's about understanding the tragedy of human beings in their behaviour.

I think that is probably what Micheal meant, but you put it in a more eloquent way than him.

Yeah I saw it on Wire Image. I am surprised that Fassy didn't show up. Maybe he is still in the US. I did read a few weeks ago that Benedict was confirmed to attend. I wonder what happened.

I'm guessing he has already gone to New Zealand to film Slow West. They were supposed to start in october.

I cannot understand why anyone that reads the Enquirer and/or Blogs would be interested about the emotional well being of Ms. Beharie. So it amounts to vile gossip. No one except a fame-whore would want to be in the tabloids.
She has been wearing a ring on her engagement finger since August 2013 ; but she is still miserable?
Clearly she has moved on with whomever; how dare she be normal.
Next week she will be dating (fill in the blank); the cancerous celebrity culture will fail in this case.

The GQ piece reminded me of a giddy Fox Searchlight party at Telluride after the first screening of "12 Years a Slave" when a young married reporter was flummoxed by Fassbender's wee flirtation with her.

So, saw TYAS yesterday, was surprised a bit by Fassy's part. Seemed less fleshed out than I expected. I know others here have seen, your thoughts? Eiwotel was so riveting, every other part was secondary, but I thought there wasn't something as clear re the Epps character.

Hmmm Artica didn't meant it that way nor even implied that Fassbender was a saint, she meant it as Charlize seems like a strong character of a woman (I've asked the question above but I believe perhaps it has to do with it)...

I read that there is an embargo on the counselor review. Is it weird that except from Micheal none of them did much promotion for it ? We have not seen Cameron Diaz anywhere doing promotions. Plus, Michael was promoting 12 years of slaves much more even though he is only a supporting character in it. So, I hope that it doesn't mean that the movie is horrible.
