Spot on. I wouldn't trust him as far as I can throw him. He likes the idea of being in a loving and committed relationship but because he is a randy so and so he wouldn't be able to keep it in his trousers while away working.
Maybe the jealousy and possessiveness comes from the fact that you can't trust your partner because you suspect they're stepping out on you when you're not around.
I don't think he's that honest with them. He seems to be one of those guys that will shower you with attention/be loving and romantic when you are around but what happens when you are not there? Out of sight is out of mind. Some men wouldn't even consider it cheating because the women they cheat with don't mean anything to them. It's 'just' a shag. But if you were the official girlfriend you are gonna be peeved.
Maybe he dates women who are equally busy and understand. I'm not sure why he has to be labeled like he's a cad.
I think it's refreshing that he's being upfront about it. He could easily go into the whole fake George Clooney need a gf for award season route only to dump them after it's over. That's so transparent and desperate.

I don't understand your posts. He didn't say in the interview that he cheats/steps out on his girlfriends? I said that he does based on what I have read and heard about him. What Michael said in the interview was that he doesn't like possessive or jealous types. So where you got his being honest about his cheating I don't know because he never mentioned cheating at all.
I was responding in general to the idea in a few posts on here that Fass is somehow lying to these poor girls who are sitting at home crying over his "lack of faithfulness." My thought is maybe women that he gets involved with know the deal and are fine with it because they are equally busy. You can date someone and not be exclusive. If he is seen out with different girls it doesn't mean he lied or is cheating.

Mike talks about how he likes being in relationship and how he would like to share his life with that special someone. And judging him by that alone I would assume that he was faithful and committed, and open relationships are not for him. However, what I have read and heard around town is that he cheats.
You seem to have a very poor opinion of women. I don't think that his girlfriends are sat at home crying when he's not there either. However, I do suspect that he's cheating on them behind their backs and his not upfront about it. This is just my opinion and I could be wrong of course.
It really depends on the rules of the relationship. If he tells a woman they're not exclusive then she has no right to be jealous. But if he's not clear from the beginning what type of relationship they have then he's bringing it on himself. Obviously, we don't know which it is.

I generally agree with this.
I mean he's said that he doesn't abstain, he wrecks sweet shops, he has a buffet of choice etc. to me that's pretty clear. I get idea that he has pretty open relationships and I'm under the impression that perhaps his ex's know this. (maybe not but perhaps). I personally don't think he's been in a serious/monogamous relationship since Leasi (just my opinion) and we all see how that turned out.
On the other hand I don't think that just because he stands next to a woman, talks to a woman, flirts with a woman, is in the general vicinity of a woman that he is cheating or sleeping with her. I think he would actually LIKE to be in a serious relationship like he says but for him that's not possible as he is too busy, perhaps too much temptation among other things.
Michael's work and success come first for him at the moment and I've said before I don't think that'll change anytime soon, not until he feels he's accomplished much more (career wise). He's at a position now where he can work on some really great projects and he's no longer struggling like before so he's making hay and I get that.
I think he may be generally cool with some of his ex's while other's not so much. lol I think he and Zoe ended pretty amicably I mean she supported him at TIFF after they were already broken up and she was seeing Penn. The others I am not so sure. I think he's seeing Louise pretty casually right now and as they pretty much only see each other when he's in London (just what I think) I think she know's the deal and is okay with it.
Maybe he's pretty straight forward with some about being casual or open and others maybe not.
It would suck to find out someone you think is in a monogamous relationship with you is cheating... But then again not every woman wants a relationship or to be exclusive and as we don't know what goes on behind the scenes, what kind of relationship he has with any of his ex's we can only speculate.- Status
