If you read all of the tweet, the gentlemen is suggesting the person (dressed to the nines) he saw did something that is considered rude in public. Therefore, I'm doubting he saw Michael do something rude in public.

Chiwetel's performance looks like it's going to be amazing, he's a brilliant actor and I hope lots of good things come his way. I also hope he and McQueen will eventually be able to make the Fela Kuti movie they were planning a few years ago.

Were people saying MF's performance looked over the top? It didn't look over the top to me but I did think that whoever put the trailer together did a somewhat average job. I'm expecting the movie to be better than trailer... which still looks good... just wasn't expecting such a conventional approach to the trailer.

And frankly thank you Brad Pitt for loving Fassbender-McQueen pairing enough so this movie was primarily funded by your production company (who I read is also backing up the MLK project), unlike some people who praise the ~Ô diversity~ of the industry while they still ignore the minorities and yet try to play oh I'm buddies with ***** only to rub their ego the right way (yes I'm looking at you George Clooney)...

I know what you're saying but the thing is the trailer doesn't look much like a Steve McQueen movie so I'm telling myself they butchered the trailer.

I remember watching the Lincoln trailer and thinking DDL's accent was rubbish but in the final film his accent (and performance) were top notch.

I'm coming late to this, but the tweet finished with the gentleman's final comment, after seeing MF dressed to the nines, which was that he was thinking Daniel Craig made a crappy James Bond. Whatever you might feel about Craig is irrelevant--what it means to me is that MF was neither urinating in the street nor going to visit a prostitute. (Where did that come from?!) I agree that this was a totally bizarre interpretation of the tweet.
