My thoughts exactly! Over the internet no less, I'm sure the original story has been inevitably altered.
BTW, how excited are you about WonderCon?! And the possibility of seeing Fassy? There are so many cool panels. I really wish I had found out about it sooner or that it had been in SF per usual. Oh wells = ( some other time in life maybe.
Well, I'll have the one dissenting opinion about this rumor here, I guess. And it's possible that Michael felt the same if, indeed, this whole thing is true. It's not like the woman was not in the movie. Not like she was some random girl who he decided he wanted to bring. She was an actress in the movie. Her character was integral in illustrating Brandon's intimacy issues. Why should the studio not pay for her to be there?
Notice it took her a while to write that up. She didn't post it on the day the photos were taken. She sounds uncharacteristically diplomatic, like she was trying to keep from writing what she really wanted to. Of course, she couldn't keep from mentioning 'his type' because of course, that's the only reason he's dating her. "Shes his type petite, dark-skinned, exotic beauty, full lips. That really is his type." Like she's rationalizing it using the 'his type' explanation. I'm thinking that ol' Kaiser needed some time to deal with some salty feelings, which to me, still managed to seep out of the words on the screen. But that's just me. I sometimes see things differently than most.
I know I shouldnt even get involved in this again and just let you speculate widly about it but I just wanted to insist on the fact that he didnt make that special request sound like a blackmailing ultimatum at all from what I was told (or else I would be threw with him too) and the whole thing went down through his PR staff anyway. And none of them paid anything so you shouldnt blame anyone of them for enjoying a bit of their new deserved status and fair hard work reward. Its very common stuff in this business, really. Everyone takes advantage of everyone when they get the opportunity to do so (God, I already sound bitter). Labelling him as stingy is ridiculous though. Just calm down people.

I, for one, don't see it as him being stingy when looking at it in this light. Or any other, to be honest. I know that people claim to have inside information but who really has inside information from Michael, himself, as to his thinking and reasoning with regards to this issue?
Besides, by the time these rumors get out into the public (i.e. people who are not directly involved in the matter - and hell, even people who are) the story has changed so many times. It's like a game of 'Operator' for those of you who are familiar with that game.
I kind of agree with this. And here's the thing...when you get to that echelon where Fassy is at, you can start making demands like this and no one blinks an eye or considers it stingy or rude. It's like those rock stars who require bowls of m & m's with all the brown ones removed and so on. It becomes a matter of so many people ready to bow down to your commands, that if you don't make them, you aren't playing the game right.
I also like the fantasy of him going to bat for Nichole to get her expenses covered because maybe she doesn't have as much "hand" or power yet as he does and so he sees an opportunity to assist her. Of course I would lean toward the most romantic explanation.![]()

They paid to bring Nicole, James Badge Dale and Elisabeth Masucci to the LA screening a week or two before the Paris premiere, it makes sense that they would want more than just Steve and Michael at the Paris premiere (particularly someone excessively pretty; it is France after all) especially since they knew the language barrier would make for an awkward Q & A.
hahaha. the Welcome to Hackney graphic is cracking me up. :lolots::lolots::lolots:
Very. Lol. I'd probably be more excited about the possibility of seeing him if I felt he were single. But you know, now it's just like, "meh, whatever..."
I'm a total liar, by the way.![]()
