Yes, I agree. And I think that Michael was quite proud of Shame and would've been even more proud to have been nominated for and win an award for the film.

Yeah, I can't understand why those people - including the blog owner (who seems to be especially adamant) - don't think it could be true. To go so far as to call the relationship 'imaginary' is almost laughable.

Nope he's in London. A friend of mine lives near Broadway Market where she saw him and Nicole walking around, arm in arm this afternoon. She told me that they walked into the coffee shop she was at and that they sat on the terrace for a few minutes kissing and chillin' out before they left again.

I guess the boyfriend had to make way for the Fassdong. :laugh:

Thanks for the info. I'm happy to know he chose to spend this time with her and she with him. Someone mentioned earlier about feeling invested in this whole thing. I sort of feel the same way...whatever it is they've got going on. It's kind of weird reading people's responses to this on different websites. From the people who seem keen on dismissing it as some sort of 'just sex' type of relationship to those who choose to believe that it's a figment of the imagination of this weekend's eyewitnesses. I wonder if there's a silent majority who might believe that it's something that lies in the middle. I'm just happy to know that they're friends. :smile1:

I'm shipping these two. Nicole seems like a great girl for him. They are definitely friends with benefits and hopefully more. Let's hope he won't make the mistake that Askars made with Voldemort, when he never confirmed that he was in a relationship with her.

When I told my friend about the Nicole/Fassbender sightings he tweeted back "Brandon and Marianne are finishing what they started. Let's hope Brandon doesn't choke again." :giggles:

I want to ship them so badly.:hbeat: But I fear it's too soon for me. I'm being cautiously optimistic about it all. It's hard when you don't know all the facts yet. But I guess you don't need to know the facts to ship, huh? ;) I just wan't it to be more than just FWB.

By the way, 'Voldemort' has got to be the best and worst name given to a girlfriend by any fan base. :laugh: Poor Kate.

Whhhaat! I strongly disagree :D. I'd even say it's a revelatory performance, but he already revealed himself with Hunger. The cinematography is top-notch too imo. I saw Nowhere Boy today, and the contrast between McQueen the filmmaker and Taylor-Wood the filmmaker couldn't be bigger. I was surprised with the conventional choices the Taylor-Wood made, since she's so lauded in the art world.

I like Nicole with Michael. Not only for the physical chemistry, but because she's smart, levelheaded, and her interest seems to just be a good actor instead of starlet. Let's see how far this goes. The following excerpt from Ebony magazine did make me chuckle -- Nicole, girl, hope your propensity for staying up late gets better when paired up with Michael :)

Can't believe Viola got snubbed! That was terrible.

I actually liked Mara's dress (her attitude is another business altogether). There's something weirdly enticing about it - like space-age wedding dress meets Thierry Mugler. Anyway, I like. Viola's dress is a hot mess compared to the great fashion she wore throughout awards season.

The dresses that caught my eye were Gwyneth, Mara, Shailene Woodley, Jovovich, Michelle Williams's.
The honours for bad wear ... well there are loads.
