Here is another cute red carpet interview with Michael during the 300 premiere.

Notice the scars on his face?

Because he's mentioning that he's currently working on Schumacher's Blood Creek, I would guess that it is an allergic reaction/zits due to the heavy makeup and prosthetics he had to wear for the movie. (kind of like Tom Hardy's allergic reaction to the makeup covering his tattoos on Dark Knight Rises)

He looks fantastic at the Hackney Picturehouse Q&A! It's funny how young he looks when his body seemingly has benefitted from a decent night's sleep, and how old he can look when his face cannot mask sleep deprivation. It's a bit silly that Fox has tried to block the 2nd video since the Q&A was done in collaboration with Momentum Picture, who rightfully detains distribution rights in the UK.

What question did you girls ask him at BFI premiere? What did he answer? :smile1:

He looks totally hot. And I agree about the sleep thing, normally he looks just right but lack of sleep catches up to him quickly. He should spend more time in bed. ;)

Thanks for posting the videos Artica!

Teeheehee :giggles: yes, he needs to get an assistant on his payroll who will make sure that he gets enough bedtime to maintain that handsome face of his. Dust out your curriculum, ladies!

The peacoat he's wearing is nice and simple, too. I like.

Aww I kind of miss Penny's irreverence and zany gifs. Come back from the dead sometime soon, girl :)

Yay, this thread is moving again! :smile1:
How's everyone doing? Just peeking in to do a little back reading and to say hello.

Artica, thanks for the vids, girl. Was wondering if/when those would be coming out.

I keep hearing conflicting reports about when '12 Years' is going to be shooting. Anyone have a definitive answer? I saw in the Hollywood Reporter that Brad Pitt mentioned how he only has a small cameo in it. That's different from what we've been "hearing" all along.

"Twelve Years a Slave, to be filmed by Shame helmer Steve McQueen, tells the story of “a free black man in the north who is kidnapped and sold into slavery in the South. I’m only doing a small cameo, but it stars Michael Fassbender and Chiwetel Ejiofor and there’ve been very few movies about slavery, certainly that had the impact of Roots.” (sorry if it's been posted already; i've been MIA around here) http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/brad-pitt-angelina-jolie-oscars-moneyball-tree-of-life-284533

She tried but I guess the mods weren't having it. I'm guessing the ban is permanent.:confused1:

This Oscar sh*t is a mess. The only really deserving dude nominated is Gary Oldman... so they had FOUR OTHER nominations they could've given ONE to Fassy. JFC... I was srsly stunned he didn't get one.......

I thought it might have been the scars he got beaten up with that bouncer in Edinburgh.

You are right, the man looks great with good lighting and a good night's sleep. I guess an early evening on the sofa with a DVD and some popcorn is not his idea of a good time. So we'll continue to see him dead tired. I wonder if he'll show up at the premiere this Tuesday if he's still in Atlanta.

Hopefully Hackney PH can re-edit the video and put it back online. I'd love to hear the audience's questions.

At the BFI screening I asked if his mother had seen the film. Just wanted to get a laugh. It worked. Plus he explained about his mum's back problems that prevented her from attending the Venice premiere and how his parents came to visit him in NY when he was filming Shame.
