It's getting a bit too Butler-esque for my taste :weird:.

Edit: Oh wait, I read scans 1 and 2, and the interviewer's questions are pretty frank too. And the erection question answers some of you ladies' Qs a few pages back ;) The Henman reference is ****ing hilarious (I used to be obsessed with tennis)!

Yeah, I don't know how I feel about this article. I think I probably would've preferred more quotes from him and fewer "personal opinions" from the writer. It kind of seemed a bit "all over the place" for me. He was pretty candid, though.

But what is with the "um...yes. ha ha ha. well, yeah" sort of hesitant answer he gives whenever he's asked about being single? He did the same thing in another recent article.

You're welcome! Hope you enjoyed it.
Am shocked to know that actors do get Henmans during love scenes. Who wants to bet that Fassy's Henman occurred during the scene with Beharie?

I do think that the interview is below par for the Sunday Times. These female journos are something else! They can't seem to stay pro in front of him.

Judging by his outfit, I'm guessing that this interview was done on the same day as the Channel 4 interview and the rest of the press stuff, before Michael and Steve headed over to the Tate. He probably got tired of answering the same questions and he let his guard down. It's a fun read, but super unprofessional.

The female journos seriously can't keep their shiz together when it comes to him.

Because I'm not sure whether I just read an interview with Brandon Sullivan or Michael Fassbender! I guess it's more like: the interviewer goes pretty off-script, but he's game and candid/randy in his answers, making her conclude that he's coming on to her & that he'd have shown her his penis in different circumstances. Is it the Times I'm reading, or a cheapie supermarket tabloid?

Gemini: I'd venture it's codeword for "Er, I'm getting some at the moment and it's nothing serious, but... I'm not definitely not chaste. Yes, single is the simpler answer". ;)

Yeah, I don't think even Brandon would be candid like that. And, yeah, what you said about the writer making it seem as though he was coming on to her... I was going to mention that, too, but I thought that maybe it would come off as me 'hating' on her. But really, a little professionalism never did anybody any harm. She would've done well to employ some.

And, yeah, you're probably right about him 'getting some' but not being attached to whoever he's getting it from. Can't believe I didn't think of that. Duh! ;)

Anyone else not feel truly informed about anything after reading it?

It's probably because he's with me but ya see we're trying to keep it on the down low :graucho::cool:
Sorry ladies :p

Again, me duh ;)

Just watched True Blood yesterday so I have that in mind, and it wouldn't surprise me that male actors on HBO shows or movies/tv shows with explicit scenes, get aroused during frank love-making scenes. It might be a work environment, but if you're thrusting like you mean it for a whole day, and getting into the groove of it, and the co-star is attractive... surely an involuntary response will occur ;)

Oh, I'm not shocked at all. I can't imagine not being turned on if I'm making out and simulating sex with Fassbender. I'm not even joking about that. Even with the cameras and other people watching, at some point your body is going to respond to what's going on if you have the tiniest bit of attraction to the person (IMHO).

And I would bet that he got more than just a Henman in the threesome scene and probably in the one with Nicole, as well.
