Hardware reversed from the one I originally had from Coach. Leather didn't quite seem the same quality either. It went back and already got my credit. Is it only the Hangtag that’s different?
I've wondered the same! I actually contacted a seller asking to see the white style tag on interior pocket. She said it didn't have one...probably did but I didn't feel last wasting more time. After reading all of this I'm wondering if all the new nomads are mff. I've seen a whole lot of them on Ebay advertised as nwt.
Ha! on the Mr. Potato Head ... I like that.
One thing did occur to me last night ... what the Dinky situation reminds me of, and your Mr. Potato Head scenario as well ... is what seemed to happen with both the Kristin line and the Madison line's first version of gathered leather. And I bet you'll remember these instances too.
I remember that when the Kristin line was cancelled from the boutiques, it must have been done rather abruptly behind the scenes. Then all of a sudden, a bunch of Kristin "boutique delets" landed in the outlets, but if i recall correctly, a few of the colors, particularly in the woven leather, had not even been in the boutiques. But all of those in the FIRST wave were creeded as boutique bags. No F after the dash.
Then, a month or two later, there was a SECOND wave of Kristins at the outlet, particularly a brown woven and a scarlet red woven. The style, the leather quality, the hardware, were identical to what had gone through the boutiques, but they were all creeded as F bags. Then after that, Kristin just disappeared from everywhere. The implication seemed to be that Coach had cancelled Kristin abruptly from the boutiques, but they still had a few other colors ordered at the factories. So by contract the factories produced those other colors, and Coach just had them F stamped for straight to outlet.
I checked all mine. No F on creedI just bought a cooper satchel in bordeaux from the outlet at 70% off. Was shocked when I got home and noticed it had an F-creed. I have a FP marine and gray rivets and bordeaux is the exact same quality and the amazing smell. The outlet only had 1 out so it's so odd that they would bother f-creeding this. Wow. I love it the same as the others but I didn't know they were f-creeding all of the deletes now. I have to go up and check the charlie I bought last week and the clutch I got today to see if they were f-creeded too.
I think they probably had some extras still being produced after cooper was discontinued and started putting F-creeds on them instead of the regular creed. There was also a cooper on 6pm.com for cheap about a month or 2 ago that a tpfer bought. The hardware was not the same color as the ones in the fp boutiques.I just bought a cooper satchel in bordeaux from the outlet at 70% off. Was shocked when I got home and noticed it had an F-creed. My rogue totes from the outlet are f-creeded too and same quality. I just didn't realize they were doing it too the majority of the deletes now.I bought a rogue tote at the outlet with an f creed I was told it was exactly the same quality as the 1941 rogue tote it was sitting next to and felt exactly the same. I'm assuming at the end of a bags life cycle the same factories just retag some of them. Same bags same quality. Not that this goes for all factory bags of course.
