Just noticed, that ME bags have appeared in lamb skin, not in goat.
The difference is.. lower price

Just love this! I am a big fan of Agneau lambskin leather and i really think the Metallic Edge works well on this leather too. A bit more edgy than the Chevre leather (which i absolutely love too). So many great versions of the classic City bag coming out recently. Small City, Vibrato leather, Chevre, Metallic Edge with Lambskin. Balenciaga is doing so good!

I was judging based on NAP prices: lamb 984£ vs goat 1235£

I think both Lambskin Metallic Edge and Goatskin Chevre Metallic Edge bags are now the exact same price. I really want grey with silver hardware now! It's so pretty and neutral.

Hi everyone, just wanted to share my brand new Metallic Edge City bag. It is classic black with gold hardware.

At first I was shocked when I saw the bag in store. It looked really boxy, stiff and shiny. It was fully stuffed and looked huge to me. The hardware looked super gold in the store lighting too. So I didn't buy it.

But i went home n looked at photos of people on Instagram who own the bag and I couldn't get over how luxurious and soft the metallic edge chèvre leather looked in people's photo. So yesterday I went back and took the risk and purchased one...and I couldn't be happier!

Today I used it for the first time and although still stiff n shiny, I can see it softening with my items inside. I'm sure it will soften and slouch more and more with daily use. Can't wait for the bag to become less shiny too. The leather looks so sturdy and thick, I love it. Also the gold hardware looks soft gold sometimes silver depending on the lighting.

Aww thank you. I hope i've made the right choice. The bag wasn't heavy or painful either with my items in it, so i was very happy about that. I had the Velo in Metallic Edge and it was too long and too heavy for me but the City is just right for me.

I've just attached a photo of some people and celebrities including Adriana Lima and Rosie Huntington Whiteley wearing the Metallic Edge City bag which really inspired me to take the plunge and buy one.

I've been using my bag for 3 days now and it's already gone from being super stiff and hard to softening and slouching nicely. I was worried it was going to look stiff, shiny and plasticky forever but it doesn't. The beauty of Balenciaga leather is really starting to show. I think I'm loving it more and more each day.

What a beauty!!! Congratulations!! Yes with time it will get softer and more slouchy. I realized my ME chevre city looks bigger and boxier than my lamb city too, just because of the different leather types. It smells divine, doesn't it? Enjoy your new beauty, very happy for you!!!

Thank you Auvina Yeh I was really worried it was going to look huge and rectangular, but it's looking lovely already. I even got compliments at work from people who don't really know the Balenciaga brand. I love the leather so much thick, chewy n smells divine. I'm hooked on Balenciaga now. Do you have pics of your Bag on this thread or any other thread? Would love to see

Thanks seagullz, yep it's black with gold hardware 2016 edition. The gold sometimes looks gold, soft gold or silver depending on the lighting. I wanted silver hardware but now I really love the gold.

I am getting more and more interested by a ME bag and a Small City in particular..
For those who have one of those (or a City in the regular size) how are the corners wearing?
As my City in lamb skin starts to show wear already and I haven't used this bag that much.. And I am always careful to where I put my bags. Maybe it's my particular bag but I am concerned to buy a ME in goat if the same happens..
